can't stand Bastille and it's a pretty "blah" advert on the whole. Lily's Somewhere Only We Know remains unbothered.

Reading about the john lewis advert, the makers of the ad are adamandeveddb who made the 2011 one which i dont think i had seen before so just watched it and it got me blubbing a bit

At first it made me laugh because its how the majority of us feel throughout november and december we just want it to hurry, then it got me thinking that this kid wasnt being a bit of a brat getting sulky because he wants his presents but then the twist at the end was he wanted it to hurry along so he could give his mum and dad his badly wrapped but very thoughtful gift. Awwww. I think im going to take a look at the other JL ads
