The results are apparently not being announced tonight (which is a whole mess in itself), but for some reason Pete Buttigieg just declared himself victorious anyway

...has Pete Buttigieg come from nowhere for the finishing line...he’s like someone who was never in the race, but he just ran onto the pitch/track near the end, type thing...to get his photo taken..?.../..like a photobomb person...who is Pete Buttigieg...do we like him, MB..should we stan..?....

i saw on our dutch breakfast news, and our political correspondent there in the US, Erik Mouthaan said even though there are no results, clear favourites in Iowa were Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren
