I would have loved a ginger barbie when I was a kid, would have made me feel less like a freak

I had an accident playing out when I was a kid....I ran into a rope that had been put between fence panels and got thrown backwards and hit my head on the concrete. I was in a dancing show that night and my dad said he'd buy me a Barbie if I still danced because I didn't want to go....I never got it and brought it up from time to time....my dad finally got it for me, for my 30th Birthday

Haha... I didn't get Kerplunk till I was almost 30. I had a deprived childhood too...

One of my best girl friends growing up had ginger hair. She got a lot of shtick for it and I never understood why... it was beautiful. Still is, in fact.
