Meat no. I keep my bread in the fridge, so it lasts longer.
I think it depends, fruit is ok, but anything else it depends if it still smells ok?

Ew bread goes dry in the fridge. Although as a pro-tip - you can toast bread straight from frozen so if it's just for toast, you can keep bread for months.

Fruit and veg I don't think should even have dates on them; you can tell if it's good by sight and touch and it often lasts way past the date, but ALSO can go smelleh before the date depending on how it's stored. You can't go with the dates at all! I've had "ripen at home" stuff that hasn't even fully ripened by the best before date . Nothing worse than a powdery plum that needs another 24h to juice up

Anyone else...?

No out of date is very bad for you

Bread decays faster at cooler temperatures so good luck with your stale bread Ness.

Donuts and Biscuits if they're only a day out of date.

I never really do it with Meat though for obvious reasons.

Only if it’s like a day otherwise no and things that are over their “best before” taste like sh*t anyway
