It's a difficult one really, Garden centres should close but farming focused shops should remain open. Encourage people to start growing their own produce, I feel like if a lot of GCs were still open, people would go to them just to wander around and buy fluff instead of important stuff.

our local B n Q is open for click and collect, and also had some flowers and compost you could buy there and then, social distancing queuing and you stand to the side behind a glass window while the staff member scans your purchases, they were also giving away some free flowers

I don’t see why Garden Centres and places like B&Q can’t re open and operate the same way as supermarkets. I know some places attract the older generation more but the older generation maybe need to be more sensible than most and avoid them unless absolutely necessary.

B n Q have reopened this week but you cant go inside, click and collect and queue for a limited amount of flowers/compost
