Scottish woman keeps looking at the guy with Down’s Syndrome like she knows him (awful descriptions but I’ll learn the names as time goes on )

Seems to be an emphasis at the end of the ep on her family and “not having one” - maybe she’s related to that guy!?

I'm a bit wary of Ryan becoming a bit too involved in the primary plot.

Hopefully, he remains the side character or just a random face of the OCG because, not to be mean, the actor sucks.

In fact I was a bit confused about how a PC has replaced a PS (not sure what distinctions between the positions tbf) but Jo knowing who he is explains that.

I also can't remember if Kate or Steve have ever actually met Ryan before? Or was Kate "recognising" him just a nod to the audience.
