I wonder if the likes of Klopp and Guardiola knew about these plans - you'd think it would be unlikely they would be kept in the dark.

There are a lot of reasons to be ashamed and embarrassed to be an Arsenal fan right now, but this is top of the list. Everyone who considers themselves a fan of fair, competitive football, or a fan of any of these 6 clubs (or indeed the other European ones) cannot, in good conscience, support this in any way.

this was always a decision taken by the owners of the clubs rather than anyone below that. There have been rumours about this happening for years. We could end up with a situation where West ham/ Everton end up winning the league this year or at least get to play in the champions league. I can see strong measures being taken very quickly against the 12 clubs

i can't see the managers of liverpool and city going along with the new super league or many of the players, so there is going to be an almighty shake up this week

hope UEFA will stop this, as this goes against their Champions League


also this is very rude and condescending towards the smaller teams



and i'd say fitting punishment would be to exclude these far too elitist teams from CL or EL for the next 2 years at least
