the Hitler youth from the get go was political and was about the nazi party and had racism in its core. Its aim from the 20s on was to train young boys to fight for and die for Germany. The idea was to take boys way from the family group and indoctrinate them and it was very good at doing thyat.

Ffs this has just reminded me that we used to say the Lord’s Prayer every morning and sing about Jesus constantly at assemblies. It wasn’t a religious school it was a bog standard state primary school! At least they’ve stopped that nonsense.
