Funny but when I saw the latest "I'm leaving" thread the first thing that came to mind was an "I'm staying" thread but Amy the I'm leaving ones are much more interesting. I don't understand why people post I'm leavng threads? Why not just go if you're not happy! Sounds to me like some people want to be talked around or need egos stroked.

I doubt everyone wants to leave, some obviously feel very sad about their decision and that is sad in itself. and I hope those members find their way back home again.

If I leave, it's because of personal reasons, e.g. I'm off on holiday, or have lots to do, etc. I wouldn't leave the forum completely because of a person or a handful of people or because I don't like the general feel of it. It's just a forum at the end of the day, a great one at that, which goes through change - and change is good! Plus I enjoy talking about the topics in the threads, especially when BB is on.

I agree with Wiglet if you want to leave just go but do we have to have fan fare every time someone opens the door to go!

I said the exact same thing and it was claimed I was making "nasty little digs". I was simply stating that each time a member leaves there's no need to make a thread, just leave. I'm sick of having to re-word everything I say to not offend people (not directed at anyone imparticular, or even this forum - just in general).
