Noel looks good when he's singing someone else song.

Butterfly collector is better. Again, someone else song

I stick by the scrub guitarist. In both those clips Weller is playing the hard parts

Noel needs to realise that he isnt in direct competition with these artists that he's criticising so to them they dont give a sh*t that Noel doesn't like them

Sam Smith is a singer, there's billions of them. Noel Gallagher is a successful artist that made a lasting impression on a generation and influenced many who came after.

Well he is since he wrote the majority of Oasis songs.....he is the most credited of the brothers. He owns the rights to most of the Oasis back catalogue so without him Liam can't perform tje songs

He's a bit of a nob but he was the driving force behind Oasis, Liam was the "face" but without Noel they wouldn't have had the success initially as Liam was a **** songwriter in the early days

Supersonic being my personal favourite ..
but I really don’t like his voice and wish Liam had sung on ALL the Oasis songs.

I love Liam’s voice

I prefer Liam's new stuff. All the NGHFB songs I hear I wish Liam was singing them

The best song Liam has ever wrote was Songbird....an Oasis song. I love Liam and his new stuff is ok....but at any of his solo gigs he relies.on Oasis songs to get the crowds going.

Noels HFBs songs have been pretty blah but the nlast 2 have been better. He is playing my lical park this summer and I can't not be there. I've been at every local gig of oasis and Liam since 1996 so got to see Noel now

Imo there is nothing wrong with being a group who doesn't play instruments, as long as there is talent coming elsewhere.

But I get that the Music that Oasis were making would be weird to not call them a band.

This is another reason to think what the hell is his problem?

I remember him saying on Seth Myers show, his back catalogue was coming back to him in about 2025. He can then sell to the highest bidder or keep control. Either way he's gonna become even more wealthy than he is now.

He's written all time classic songs, is incredibly wealthy, revered by his peers and loved by fans so what's the problem with new and young artists? Why is he so angry? I don't get it

Maybe he’s just ‘on’ something that clouds his judgement

Someone upthread said he was positive toward Harry Styles and Stormzy, so it's not just newbies he doesn't like.

edit: retracted as it was Liam ... and "someone" was you
