I listened to his Christmas Day Show on Boom Radio, and he was due to be on Boom again this coming Easter Sunday.

In fact, I heard he and his producer Malcolm had met up yesterday to talk about the show. Paul was laughing and joking and then he said I am going to lie on the couch for a quick nap. Apparently he died in his sleep. Very sad and sudden.

He had also been doing this Annie musical. Maybe he was overdoing it.

A national treasure by all accounts. Genuinely gutted.

Grown up watching him, literally.

In the mid-late 90's I'd watch Lily on The Big Breakfast before school and then later Blankety Blank straight after school. As a teenager, I'd come home from high school and watch his show at 5 with my tea. Then more recently I've never missed his show with the dogs.

Yes truly gutted. I've shed quite a few tears. It's not fully sunk in yet that he's gone.

I saw a story that when he did does shows he requests that they advertise the available jobs in the local job centre to give people in that area a break when they needed one

Aww he was such a thoughtful nice man . I always grew up with him as Lily Savage,but as I got older I appreciated his Paul o Grady show on channel 4 and I always watched it .
