Maybe you would like to show us all the posts saying this was okay, the thread is about someone being called transphobic because they called out behaviour sexualising kids, moving the goalposts doesnt make that behaviour any better

Who here has acted like that's okay?

The difference is that beauty pagaents are almost universally acknowledged to be skeezy and gross, and there hasn't been any visible push to make them seem acceptable or to be encouraged.

They're pretty niche, and have had no reason to be mentioned on these boards.

The modern child beauty pageant emerged in the early 1960s, held in Miami, Florida. Since then, the industry has grown to include about 250,000 pageants. It is an increasingly lucrative business, bringing in about twenty billion dollars a year to the Americas with its popularity spreading worldwide.

Most of the forum users aren't in America, so it's less in our periphery. Child drag shows haven't been around since the 1960s, so their increasing prevalence is newsworthy, which is why it attracts comments.

yes child beauty pageants attract paedophiles

also parents push their children into those pageants, well those from quite wealthy families, in order for their children to be successful for them, no matter if they want it themselves or not

we all know the Jonbenet Ramsay case well i think

i'm against child pageants myself because children should be protected until the point when they're mature enough to let them have more privacy, old enough to make their own life choices

Miss pageants are ok in my opinion, same as next top model shows, and controversial but i am not against trans people in next top model shows, Loiza was my fave back then, she has been in many other shows she competed in, also in the german Lets Dance, she has a funny personality, and even tho not the technically best dancer, she does have lots of fun and give it her full 110%

Drag act performances can vary, obviously any sexually mature themes being performed in front of children is wrong, it doesn't matter who is doing it.

But getting away from the Media's stereotypes of Drag performers, most of them do a variety of different routines such as Comedy and singing etc.
