She is fabulous at self promotion as well
… using famous people in her videos plus using her her love life to keep her relevant .

I recall her using and spitting out John Mayer years ago and nearly ruined his career

The thing about music is that nothing will ever appeal to everyone. It's just the way it is. The beatles were hated by everyone except teen girls when they first started, same with Rick Astley for that matter
