I feel through a plate glass window in the bus station in front of EVERYONE. Thought I was being cool and went to lean back on the window.......there was no glass in it and ended in a heap on the floor. I skipped school for days after that, I was mortified.

Not school but 16-year-old me tried playing big for my boots in Costco one time when the shop-assistant asked if I wanted to try some of their cornflake-recipe they had on-aisle when I was supervising my then-little cousin (who had a sample). “I’m just here to watch her,” I said, trying to sound mature. But to this day I think about how rude that was and so unnecessarily so.
