Team Jive

Ben: i myself thought he was harshly undermarked by the judges, for someone who doesn't have a perfect posture for such a fast latin as jive, i thought despite not technically amazing, he saved the performance with his musicality, timing, and lots of personality, i think Malika is the right pro for him, he seems like such a sweetheart too

Marc: overmarked by judges i thought, very wooden, apart from that breakdance signature move of his then but idk, also he seems kinda full of himself

Osan: not already the GRANDMOTHER shoutout in a launch show, his grandmother Heidi watches this show since series 1, but anyway as for how he got on with the jive, meh, could've been better, but could've also been way worse, bit in the middle


team waltz:

Taliso: for one who is blind and partially deaf, i have to say he did decently, although having said that, this was a slow dance, maybe easier to follow the beats, am glad he won the immunity ticket by the public, wouldn't want him to get booted first on who knows a faster paced routine, he seems soooooo cute either

Christine: 62 but what a MILF! also a bit of a Sally Field vibe i am having with this lovely woman, she did great with this waltz, can't wait to see more of her, and i think she and Valentin will get on so so well

Roland: he is so entertaining, he did well hope he is able to keep up with Queen Choreo Kathrin Menzinger her sometimes wacky over the top choreo's, but he has a good teacher in her anyway


team quickstep:

Fabian: this one has potential to go far, and i am super happy he is with Nastya am sure this will be a fun couple to watch


Jeanette: might be dangerous to say this, but Vadim got another good one!


team tango:

San Diego: and here i was scared he would be so unlikable, coming across smug but he seems very nice, he also did a good job with the tango

Marie: Alexandru has a contender Olé Olé! also what a world star of a stunt performer she is

Selfiesandra: how more wrong can i get proven to be, BIG GIRLS CAN DANCE! wow wow wow


team cha cha:

Leyla: fun personality but dance wise, all over the place for now

Paola: she is so likeable, but same as leyla dance wise all over the place

do think Roland is more of a showman, so Kathrin needs to make sure the showy element is always there in their routines

considering she does a lot of late night partying, rather than you know also have plenty of sleep, after long training days


do think she could've been one to be booted out first, i mean newbie pro + celebrity who literally has done too many reality shows in last few years, too much exposure i mean


and her cha cha skills were non-existent and none of those in that group were any good lol


now i'm worried for Simone, as Paola has Massimo (and i doubt the casual viewers would want Massimo to be booted first)

Christine & Valentin: those Muhammad Ali boxing movements in this quickstep from that queen! iconique, but quickstep wise it was fast and properly danced 6

Ben & Malika: **** OFF Llambi with your ''he danced ahead of the music'' no way this was worth a 1, he tried his best, you can easily see he worked hard this week in training 4

Osan & Christina: not surprised they were eliminated, this was dire, no expression/emotion in his face whatsoever, also dancing by the numbers, it was stiff but in a bad way rather than with the attack required in a tango, the tango argentino part well half danced gancho's, crap 1

Diego & Ekat: Ekat in a SEXY Catsuit Yes PLS, also Diego has potential, and personality wise i am liking what i see from him, i had expected someone more smug as he is quite privileged etc, nice New Kids on the Block too 6

Marie & Alexandru: jive wise this was a bit on the wooden-ish side for me, but tricks wise this was entertaining, focus more on the basic content too pls is what i would want to see next week 5

Simone & Evgeny: a solidly performed waltz but at the end of the day a waltz is just a waltz, nothing groundbreaking but just decent 6

Roland & Kathrin: UNDERSCORED like massively, the Tony Manero from Bonn, bore off stupid judges it was a nice idea by Kathrin to get him to bring out his inner Travolta, also quite a nice disco cha cha all in all 6

Paola Maria & Massimo: two italians dancing a waltz to a french classic, WHEW only can happen on this show, cute performance but her nerves kinda got the better of her maybe 4

Sandra & Zsolt: how can this queen dance stunningly the way she does despite not having the posture for this, WOW WOW WOW 8

Marc & Renata: judges pet confirmed officially now for 100% only cuz he is besties with the husband of Heidi Klum, and Heidi's brother in law 3

Taliso & Patricija: they had immunity so no nerves probably, it was a nice quickstep 8

but most interesting to hear different more slowed down versions in Taliso's and Sandra's routines


Ben with the jive, which he sucked at in the group dance in the launch show lets hope Malika can make him improve on the technical content this time around, it is a fun billy idol song choice though



Simone big boots to fill, last time a paso to this song, was with Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (one of my personal fave ever paso dobles on any version of this show worldwide) but i hope she can also do well, i like her

thoughts: those flexible leg actions! serving us some angela rippon/debbie mcgee vibes here, also recreating that iconic flashdance scene was brilliantly done by Valentin, amazing cha cha movement throughout as well
