Trump knew exactly what he was doing. He sent the guard in to inflame the situation and the protesters took the bait and fell for it hook line and sinker.

The USA is done, but half the population support what trump is doing, so it's what they want

Nah...the national guards were there to protect the police stations whilst the police were out quelling the protests/riots.
