Reports big backlash against Thomas.


[It’s on X, Instagram and TikTok that
Skinner has really made a name for himself
in recent years, at first by going viral with
motivational morning messages,
often filmed in his much-loved Dino’s Café in East London
as he eats a steak pie and chips for breakfast.

But it’s social media that has also proven,
critics would argue, to be his undoing.
Well, X to be specific. As Elon Musk’s reign has
brought far-right content and conspiracy
theories thundering onto everyone’s timelines,
Skinner’s content has taken a political turn.

He’s praised Donald Trump as “brilliant”,
declared London unsafe and weighed in
on migrant hotels.


Savvy as ever, he hit monetise on his X account
in July and has said he’s donating any money
made to a local children’s charity. ]

He can't possibly eat all this stuff in Dinos cafe, he is there at 5am with a roast dinner at times

Posting on Instagram on Thursday, the dad of three shared a video of himself running up a hill pushing a pram with his kids inside whilst wearing a weighted vest.

The caption read: "3 kids in the pram….20kg weighted vest on…. Up hill….in the rain….running like a steam train. We are taking the training for Strictly Come Dancing seriously. Doing it for the pint drinking, kebab eating dads out there with the beer belly’s. We got this. Bosh"

Former Strictly star and JLS singer JB Gill - who won the Christmas special of the show in 2012 and came runner up to Chris McCausland in 2024 - was quick to support the fellow Londoner, commenting "Let’s go skinner!!!" under the post.
