No I don't think he deserved the warning, and it feels like BB is only doing this as Sam was in tears
. He definitely meant camp though,so I don't know why he's backtracking and saying he meant that Sam is " too nice " ....come on now George . I don't know why Sam got so upset, he could have given it back to George and mentioned his angry kid hairstyle being the campest he'd ever seen or something .

You don’t get to decide how another gay man expresses himself. Camp, loud, quiet, subtle, it’s all valid. Comments like that tell people they can be gay, but only if they tone it down. That’s not acceptance, that’s control. If someone’s confidence or visibility annoys you, ask yourself why.

I'm catching back up and listening to Sam & him talking... no idea why a warning would be necessary. They handled it just fine?
I guess BB feels it has to compile a list of infractions for any number of legal reasons. One, I would not be shocked to hear if past contestants had tried to sue BB for unfairly painting them a certain way and then suddenly ejecting them and they could come back and say BB had actually encouraged the behavior (which got them in trouble irl)... so by giving them multiple directed warnings, it can't be said that BB had encouraged the behavior. At least not legally.

No, it was ridiculous. And the way that carol instantly tried to police his behaviour was awful. The whole wokey side of the house are simultaneously so sickly over sweet and heavy handed authoritarian. They might have sorted it out later, but if Sam hadn't been so overly dramatic over it BB wouldn't have stepped in. But, that aside, Sam, you are not 'different'. You are a walking stereotype with an adopted persona. You are dime a dozen. Stop making out like you are some kind of unqiue creation.

"But, that aside, Sam, you are not 'different'. You are a walking stereotype with an adopted persona. You are dime a dozen. Stop making out like you are some kind of unqiue creation."
A mental illness breakthrough. Hitherto believed that, unlike the phenomenon of distinct multiple personalities, schizophrenia is defined by hallucinations, delusions, distorted perception suffered by a single human, but now we know better, for we learn that a single entity can simultaneously be: (a) not different (b) a walking stereotype (does a stereotype need to be mobile?) (c) have an adopted persona (a tautology, as a persona is, by definition, adopted) (d) be a dime a dozen (pretenses of uniqueness notwithstanding) (e) pretending to be a unique creation Sigmund Freud eat your heart out. As for BB, commenting on BB2 or BB3, Ronald Laing opined: They are playing a game. They are playing at not playing a game. If I show them I see they are, I shall break the rules and they will punish me. I must play their game, of not seeing I see the game. The game's afoot. . So things calmed down enough here I could finish the episode properly
![]() Sam seemed very pleased with the fight between George and Jenny going poorly. I honestly think they all knew what was going to happen and are slowly setting him up to fall on his own sword. I'm not buying the "we're trying to be open minded!" act lol. People feign being interested in other viewpoints all the time to collect dirt and then the moment that person has let their guard down, the knives will start to get pulled as they go down their respective checklists. That's where George will find himself isolated. And to be fair, he set himself up for failure in some ways because of how he advertised himself. He had already thought they all didn't like him and I seem to remember he broadcasted that to the other HMs? So if he thinks he has work harder to change their minds, he made it way too easy. He doesn't have to change their minds and he shouldn't be frustrated with the fact that anyone else wouldn't be willing to. They all think they're right, but that's true for him as well. The irony is they're going to go after him for being stubborn when it's pretty clear most everyone else have also determined how they were going to portray themselves once they got into the house. It's just George who is letting it to get him that he's one of the only few people there to argue his side... Emily was a big loss in that way as it would've been interesting to see if they would've teamed up or not, especially as I could've seen her being part of the "girly girls". But we won't ever know now.

What George said is not against the law so why weren't the housemates allowed to sort it out between themselves. If they didn't like it, they can nominate him and let the public decide. I don't like this dumbed down, stupid policy. How is it a social experiment if people arent allowed to speak

I still don't see the difference between Gani mimicking Jennys accent and what George did? but treated completely differently, also as has been said given Sam and George sorted it out surely a warning should have been issued only if it happened again?

I think that it does make George the bigger douchebag out of the two personally.
But I waited for someone else to say it, as I don't want to look like I'm just pulling George up all of the time.

When BB gave out the warning he said 'do you see how that could be offensive to your fellow HMs and viewers'
Frankly I thought it was funny but I would imagine if Jenny went in there doing an Indian accent the outcome might be different? George was asked to name one bad thing everyone had something bad said about them not just Sam

…I find this guy Yazzfetto really interesting because he generally has a balanced take on all things BB…and it’s interesting what he’s saying here because I’m feeling very similar atm…I mean, I like George as a housemate, I think that he’s going to be a pivotal character…but that’s the thing, though…I’m feeling more and more that he is a character and he’s only George on the surface and he’s feeling for me, very contrived and devised and composed and all that jazz…and that would be ironic really because so much criticism is always laid at those housemates that are ‘social media’, so not your general/regular person as such and more on a career boost or whatever in BB…and then along comes George and isn’t he refreshing …but as Yazzfetto says, what if he’s not at all and just playing into a character…
…anyway, that will give many talking points I’m sure… …I don’t know with the warning, was it deserved…?…well, BB can’t just ignore either because of the outcries over that…screams if they do/screams if they do don’t type thing…but these things aren’t always one size fits all and therefore one warning fits all, either…and I think that for this, the best way was to talk about it themselves, which they did and already had …so maybe to have asked them both to come in together to refer to it with also adding that resolving together as they had was the better way but that BB had obviously noted it all…anyway, probably not explaining well but BB shouldn’t remain static in things like warnings and that one size fits all forevermore thing…/…it should all fit to whatever it refers to at the time…

If he used words instead of the impersonation it would have been absolutely fine, it's the fact that he mocked his voice and the way he carries himself that is out of order.

Just catching up now.
I don’t believe George meant to do it with malicious intent, but he also didn’t need to do the actions/sound as that would have got me too.
