He is a walking pamphlet for Narcissistic Personality Disorder which is why it is so easy for many to attribute every possible kind of wrong onto him, outlandish or not. That's why he does it.

I think he just says stuff sometimes to try to get the rabid ones to come out of the woodwork so he can say "See? See how much they hate me?... Unbelievable!" It's a self-soothing thing. He did something similar at Charlie Kirk's memorial, which was a contradiction to the rest of his service and the things being said. Yet they still treated him like he is normal. That's very common with people charmed by those with those traits. I think as long as he convinces other people he's some kind of permanent martyr, they will overlook a lot of behavior.

Watching Donald Trump speak, I can’t ignore the troubling signs. He repeats himself, loses track mid-sentence, and mixes up basic facts. At one point, he even spoke about his uncle John as if he were still alive — even though John Trump died back in 1985. That is a classic dementia symptom. Its like he cannot remember large parts of his life. His judgment feels erratic, his moods swing suddenly, and the coherence just isn’t there.

I’m no doctor, but my dad suffers from dementia, and these patterns look uncomfortably familiar. They raise serious questions about his fitness to lead. And that leads me to wonder: who is actually running the United States day to day? Because I’m convinced it isn’t Trump. Even small moments — like when Melania appeared to nudge him in the right direction as he headed to Marine One for Thanksgiving — add to the impression that he’s being guided rather than leading.

I don't think he wrote that tweet, cuz it was just too well written and used words I've never heard Trump use, but I bet Trump fully stands behind the sentiment.

What troubles me even more is the fact that he’s reportedly taken the MoCA test twice in just seven years. For most people, repeating that kind of cognitive screening within a decade would be unusual — and it only deepens my concern about his mental state.

It's certainly obvious modern day politics attract unstable people in its current form and not really all that surprising that some will act out or say crazy stuff based on that. See all the nonsense around Candace Owens and the Erika Kirk, for instance. We don't know why the son did this, though. If he was affected by certain drugs, then he was already capable of a lot without politics, especially if they were threatening to cut any support. That's a thing, sadly, but honestly we don't know anything.
