I actually quite like Chanelle. She is quite a nice HM I think. I would not expect this of her.

Where did you get this idea from? Just because she's pushed to limit by Charley's behaviour I've yet to see anything to suggest she has racial tendencies or would say anything of that nature.

I agree, if Charley sees a chance where she can use the race card again she will, She was pusing Chanelle hoping she would slip, but Chanelle was strong.

Get Charley the 2 faced fake cow OUT

Yep Matt She's going TIBB will have a big party-bash on that day.

It is a long title for a thread Matt. Not that unusual, if you look back though all the others in BB8.

It is a great idea for a thread Matt Thanks for your true opinion...

there is too much talk about this subject now! when i argue and probably most others who are in this forum when i argue with people even really really with a person i hate it never ever enters my head to say anything about race, and just because one HM said it. it doesn't mean that in every argument it will be said!

no matter how far charley pushed chanelle i honestly dont think it would enter her head!

there i've said my piece!

I am really hoping that Charley doesn't upset Chanelle much more and tip her over the edge.

Gerry was more-than-upset This just goes on & on.

Perhaps Emily feels much less guilty about saying the (N) word now?

But we don't know, as I view Emily as NOT being a racist person at all. Just a slip-of-the-tongue and it was said in a special way, which had no agression behind that.

My thoughts exactly. Only somebody with racist tendencies would come out with the racist card. It's cheap!

Unless she was racist she wouldn't be resorting to using that in during an argument.I'm sure that the thought wouldn't ever cross her mind, certainly wouldn't with me.

Why on earth would she feel any less guilty about using that word? Because of Charley's provocative behaviour? Disgraceful.

I can't believe you just posted that.

So, Emily isn't racist and calling someone a N***** is "special". Um. ok.

And, people should feel less guilty about calling someone a N***** if that person happens to be an bit of an arzehole? Well, in that case, I could pretty much call you anything and be completely guilt-free.

A slip of the tongue? Hmmmmmmm. Racist words only come out of racists mouths. I have my views. I don't think Chanelle is one though.

No way is chanelle racist she shows no signs on being racist as you can see she has been pushed to breaking point and not say anything to charley you know.

Only a racist would think that way though rice_square. That's why it never entered my head at all. Of course this thread has been opened by someone who's head it did enter.

You are a little lost Dan_

Chanelle wouldn't dream of saying a racist word. But, when things are going crazy in Chanelle's mind and she is totally losing it, then the possibility of a word popping out could happen.

This can happen almost anywhere, whether someone is racist or not.

I would say that Emily has been watching this show continually and after seeing Charley's behavior, she must be more than disgusted, especially after the Gerry incident, not to mention tonight with Chanelle..

I agree Rice_Square

Chanelle is NOT racist and I certainly am not saying that she is. But, if Charley really dug the knife in and came out with some more personal attacks on Chanelle, which really hurt and the argument was really bad and shouting went on and on, then perhaps something racial or racial over-toned could slip out in that moment of madness.

Remember, that many words can be possible construed as containing racial overtones, so she doesn't necassarily have to say the (N) word or anything too close to that either.

But most of us hope to see Charley out and the rest of the BB8 housemates having some peace and quiet for a change.

I agree. Where did this idea come from??? Chanelle is far from racist as far as I can tell and Im sure it was mentioned earlier in the series that she has a mixed race sister. It wouldn't even enter her mind to say it unless she was a racist, which she isnt

I'm afraid you've made a mistake, I'm not lost on anything.

The only reason it would come out is if she had racial tendencies, the thought does not cross non-racists minds I am sure of that.I'm sure it might be a little hard for you to comprehend.

So what is Emily is disgusted with the behaviour of Charley.Answer the question of why she should feel any less sorry for using that disgusting word against her! Deplorable
