Jon has spent the last few weeks telling everyone Scott will win - will he act differently to him now he's back in the house.

Exactly what has Cameron done to upset him. When he left the house he told Cam he wanted him to win. I cant think of anything Cam has done that is worse than any of the others. Anyone got any idea what on earth he is on about.

Exactly when will the other housemates realise that Jon cant nominate, cant be nominated and cant win.

Scott and Ray were discussing the winning aspect last night and that seemed to be their main priority - saw him as a threat.

Also if Jon is staying to the end - when will he leave the house? He should not be allowed to take the limelight away from the person who actually wins.

Yes, he will spice things up. But I wonder how the housemates will react to him after a couple of days and the novelty wears off. After all they voted for his eviction for four weeks in a row because they didnt like him. Now they have to put up with him for two weeks come what may.

Friction in the house I can see.

The producers have realised the mistake they made with the gimmick of the double-eviction (remember how dull the following week was?) and they are just repairing the damage.

And I don't think that Jon's opinion of Cameron is too important. He's probably seen the times that Cameron talked behind his back in the diary room and after the Ray incident.
Although Cameron has popularity many people believe he is not being himself completely. If Jon helps to bring out the real Cameron it may even help Cameron's chances of winning!

Game on.

Thanks for the input folks. much appreciated. I take on board all the points made however surprise surprise I remain un-convinced and I think the whole idea is corrupting the validity of the end result.

Yes it is a game show but all games should have rules that give all players an equal opportunity. With a biased individual with a fan base then some won't have that fair chance. Jon like all of us has preferences but none of us including him should be allowed to use personal popularity to influence peoples oppinions. That is just plain cheating and with the blessing of BB. It's a disgrace and shame on BB organisers for de-valuing such a splendid format.

They said in the beginning that they had gone back to basics. Yes. Very base indeed.....

Jon's popularity is also much distorted by multiple voting which is allowed of course but there are BB fanatics that are spending silly amounts of money on phone calls. 20 votes from one person does not make Jon 20 times as poular it's still only "one" person voting for him.

I was the person that voted 20 times for Jon's re-entry, ok maybe that was a bit over the top, but money is not an object and I wanted to see Jon back in.

I have always considered Jon's position in the house unfairly lost to him through a double-eviction that should never have been implemented in the first place. If BB had stuck to the original eviction system maybe Jon would still be in there for a chance to win BB in his own right, which I believe he fully deserved.

Yes I agree this series has been very gimmicky, but introducing gimmicks later on in proceedings to compensate for the ones that have gone disastrously wrong are in my opinion justified.

Sorry to admit but excluding Jon, the remainding house-mates are zombified without someone to stir things up, and this has been the problem this series: seeing the strong characters out first with the dull ones left over. Steph, Ray, Cam & Scott are very nice people, but they are simply not entertaining enough to make BB worth watching on their own.

The other thing is, Cameron and Steph were going to be seperated next week - probably still will be.

Nush, Scott and Ray will nominate them, much as Elizabeth, Dean and Brian nominated Helen and Paul

I think Cam may have a chance as the girlie vote will be seperated between Scott and Ray in the last week

I appologise for the use of the word "silly" 20 was just a figure to prove a point. (A lucky guess0

If the programm brings enjoyment then of course spending as much money as one wishes is a personal choice. I spent my silly amount of money voting to help keep Helen in when she was nominated.

The point I was trying to get accross is that multiple voting from what is perhaps quite a few in number distorts the poularity of a housemate. What ever the number of votes from a single person it is still only one person.

If everyone voted for jon 20 times he would still only be as 20th as popular as vote indicates.

No worries Bananarama . I do believe that even if I and any others that voted multple times for Jon had instead registered just the one vote, Jon still would have won re-entry to the house. And for a change the public actually got it right, I only wish this had been the case during evictions.

I'm sure I'm correct in thinking that Jon had 62% and Lisa was the next nearest with only 12%, so I really don't think the fact that some people voted more than once mattered that much.

It's hardly surprising Jon got the vote after all there was no competition was there!!! The person that would have given Jon a run for his money was not asked. She was still in Austrailia and so prevented from giving the public a fair choice. Fair to Anouska too........

I'm starting to wish the public had voted Lisa, Fed or Sissy back in

Jon is the only one saying anything very interesting at the moment.

For three of the others it's mission accomplished - they're in the final week. They've been on cruise control for the last few weeks waiting for this. They know they don't have to make an effort in the house.

All the good moments from tonight's show were from Jon: the cheese dream (wanted to see more of this), the remark to Ray and the potassium chloride remark was a classic Tickleism.
