Glad it's sorted Ann, no-ones too old for Bebo, it's a social networking site for ANYONE! You have people of all ages as your friends on there, so I don't see what some peoples problems are. I'm putting my bets on them being jealous that you're just a nice friendly person, and the only thing they can get their kicks off is criticising the way happy, normal people live their life.

Remember, it's never been a crime to be super-friendly.

I have got my space too but I joined bebo because my friends ae at a similar age to me plus my nephew is just ten and he begged me to join bebo so i thought of it first and then i said ok then Ronan i will join it but this thing only just started but as Simon said its no doubt where they are too childish but ive reported him for it now so hopefully they should send me a message but thanks for your thoughts too

well I have great news here ive had an email from the young girl involved in this and she couldnt say sorry enough on the message she really did appolligise to me so I replyed to her message and told her straight that i will accept your sorry but if this happens anymore in the future I will do more than take this further such as talking to the manager of bebo.com so hopefully its all sorted out thanks for all your help everyone and much appriciate all your kind help thanks again a more happier Ann xxxxps love you all as ever

Everyone has a right to use sites, not just youngsters.
Your one of my friends on Bebo Ann, and your so kind and caring, always leaving lovely messages on my profile, i'm proud to have you as a friend.
You should just block the person who did it, but i'm glad you took it further by contacting staff. Any age can use Bebo, there's no age limits there. Some people are just so cold hearted, they just don't realise that one day.. they will become an adult too!

I wouldn't let it bother you too much Ann. At the end of the day, you can't win with everyone. I get called ageist because I wont add the under18s to myspace, msn, etc. And you get called worse because you do.

I wouldn't lie about it though, by saying it's cousins etc. Why should you have to lie? You have nothing to hide.

Just ignore them, or better yet, report them to bebo (like you did) and that'll teach them that they can't go calling you names on a networking site.

Life has enough drama... the net should be fun... You enjoy your Bebo and your friends, and don't let anyone make you feel like you have to change.

Sorry to hear you've had trouble Ann. I get on with people from all walks of life and I'm pleased to call you my friend so I'd ignore all those nasty people who said that. I'm 25 and talk to people as young as 14 on MSN etc, people accept that and I wouldn't let anyone have a go at me about it.

I wouldn't think you were too old for Bebo or Myspace!

i dont think your to old - my mum is 44 and she has a bebo she keeps in contact with a lot of her mates that way and she is the cool aunt to her nieces and nephews who live down south as she can keep in touch with them that way,

There is no age limit on there - so there for no one is to old to be on there.
