Although as far as I know you're not allowed to aggressively insult HMs.

If you count falling off a step as agressive insulting.

For the record , ©hris..x , this is your average step.

It's in the rules that personal insults are not allowed whereas insults against housemates ARE. There's no confusion there, if Joneseye felt uncomfortable about it, they should have read the rules, saw that HM's are being criticised (What do they expect? This forum is meant so people can post their opinions about HOUSEMATES), and if they didn't want to see HM's being criticised - then leave.
OMG How the hell can it be right to insult the housemates and expect fans of thoes housemates to keep Stump and not to answer back..................in any language that is Doubble Standards..........is that what TIBB want to be asociated with being.........a site where people cant answer back cruel remarks against people that dont deserve it.....

Joneseye, thats my point. You ARE allowed to argue your point back, it's a viable option to be able to debate your point without resorting to childish insults.

Like I've said many of times, if you feel these rules are wrong, leave the forum and find somewhere that lets you run wild with verbal wars. If you feel you can stick to them, then stay, you're welcome.
Lauren i like you and have i ever insulted you......no i havent ill tell you why because you got a good attatute and ill respect you in the manner you treat me......you know as well as me some dont do that.....now im being painted as one of thoes people on here whitch im not..being called arguamentative and all this....that is so far from the truth its laughable..however ill stick up for myselff and all thoes comments that james pointed out was as a result off that me not going to lie down and take it...

I do understand your point, the rule can be infuriating when someone disregards an aspect of the rules or says something that you think is out of line. There's been so many times in the past where I've had to log off TiBB to stop me going crazy-arse on a member but at the same time I have to bear in mind that there's moderators and admins doing their best to keep peace on this forum, and since TiBB is a service I like to use - I'm going to do my bit to make it easier for them.

Well you're just stopping down to their level if you reply with childish insults, either reply to them in a reasonable manner or just ignore them.

There is no use in you breaking the rules.

Joneseye, maybe start a fresh and maybe think about being friendly towards fellow TiBB members. That way, there shouldn't be anymore trouble like this again.

Sorry Joneseye but personal insults are against the TiBB rules, which by signing up to the forum you agree to.

Mildly slagging the housemates is acceptable - after all, by going on to Big Brother the housemates automatically put themselves up for such criticism.

I hope this is an end to the matter and you can pull through this

ive always been friendly towards TIBB members that respect peoples views and dont get involved with arguing...like lauren and i understand what you saying..however there are people who like lauren say that are agravating arguaments i wont name names im sure you and the Admins know who they are....in the past ive answered back on these individuals but in future i will walk away......because im better than they are and always will be...

Jonseye - we really do welcome new members even when they get off to a rocky start! You can defend anyone on this forum, HM's included it's just a matter of doing it in a non-offensive way. I admire when someone feels strongly enough to defend someone, and do think you had some valid points, it's just a case of doing it in a way that keeps you within the rules of the forum.

The rules are not actually that tough to follow, they are pretty simple and are based around respect for each other.
