It is a weird thing - [dreams] I have had some disturbing ones which have made me feel like staying in bed and trying to re-live them, but that is soooooo hard to do, although on a rare occasion I have managed to continue the dream experience even after I have woken up
I wake up and rerember a location from a previous dream, or at least I think thats been in a previous dream

I'm a lucid dreamer and can control EVERYTHING that happens in my dreams unless it's a stressful period in my life.

This comes in a handy.

A lot.

My dream are usually really vivid, I can ussually control what happens and I'm quite good at waking myself up if I don't like the dream. When I was little I used to be able to feel what happened in a dream too (the most vivid one was when i got bitten by a gorilla in a dream and i felt it).

I nearly always wake up confused because my dreams ussually span weeks since most of my dream are about me living life with weird things happening. So when I wake up i'm like 'huh? i've lived this day before!' before realising it was a dream.

My nightmares are horrifying, they ussually involve me being chased by things, recently it's been werewolves and strangely....Dexter (from the TV show 'Dexter'). But luckily I can ussually wake up from these pretty sharpish.

I HATE falling dreams, they are just terrifying!

Do you wake up expecting everything to be the way it was in your dream?
Sometimes yeah,I had a horrible dream the other day and I woke up and thought it was all true. When I was little I dreamt my mum died and I woke up bawling my eyes out and ran into check she was still alive!

can you control your dream?
Sometimes yes,I was half-octupus half human once and I didn't like it so I woke myself up

and can you feel things in your dream?
A lot lately I can, like when Mark Owen was there the other day

You can die from those dreams.
Seriously.

(Though I think there's only been a few cases EVER!).

Apparently the shock can cause your purkinje fibres in your hearts to contract suddenly which means all your valves open and blood gushes everywhere, then your heart fails. Thank you AS Biology.

I hate it when you have a really good dream and wake up to find it wasn't real. Mine sometimes feel real when I'm having them but sometimes it's obvious that I'm dreaming and I have to try and wake myself up. Also, I find that if I'm scared in a dream and I try and scream, I can't do it at all. Does anyone ever find that if you have a dream about someone that you don't necessarily fancy, you might find them a lot more appealing? Or is it just me?

Oh my gawsh!
I have that too! It's happened 2 or 3 times.
Like, I would dream about them and then suddenly I would almost fancy them lol!

And also, I can control my dreams too! I had one, I won't go into detail but Dermot O'Leary (weird I know) was driving me somewhere and then he dropped me off and gave me a phone so I could call him to get picked up. Of course then when I wanted to call him the phone was lost, but since I knew I was dreaming I did that phone thing you do with your hand and pretended to ring him and it worked lol!

I can also wake myself up whenever I want which is handy for when you're having a nightmare!

Thats happened to me!! I've had dreams about Zac Efron and John-Paul from Hollyoaks and now I fancy John-Paul more than I used to and find Zac Efron kind of attractive!

I've taught myself to wake up from nightmares too, the trick is to realise you're having a dream, and as soon as you know that, you just think really hard about opening your eyes and you just do that as soon as you can.

Next time you're in the situation where you're trying to wake yourself up - think of something you really want instead - it usually happens!

Edit: And please nobody worry about what I posted about dying from those shock dreams - it's only ever happened a few times in the whole world and people get them every night.
