Weren't you a member of BBworld?
I was for a bit, until I realised how much I missed TIBB and everyone here.

Ooooh thanks, do we know if they are slagging us off for any reason? Or just for the fun of it.

Yes there is a reason

The people who made BBworld are angry at TiBB because they did not un-ban former member Stropz so they created a forum where they slag us off. Very mature isnt it

Don't know really; just been on to look at the site and nobody has posted since the 19th, basically I think it was because of Stropz etc

Quite immature, I wanted Stropz back but when Mark said No, I gave up on it.

I'm happy with the members we have at the moment. Everyone is so nice and friendly!!

Edit: I'm the same as Dezzy, I wanted Stropz back, but the bottom line is - she broke rules.

Thank you, Lauren.

Bottom line is, some members have moved on to another Forum. Their choice. Let's get on with posting here on TiBB and let them get on with posting on their new Forum.

This may seem sucking up to mods or whatever to some people but I genuinely think mods have done a good job by sticking to the rules whether it be a popular member or not (I've said this many times even when no mods were online so I hope no-one accuses me of sucking up, if they do, so be it). The rules would have been made a farce had Stropz been let off, and as I've been informed by various sources (they may or may not be true) Stropz doesn't want to speak to me for supporting to mods - the mods have stuck to the rules even if it made them unpopular and I feel that I owe them thanks for that. If I ever broke the rules so often that I was banned - I'd accept it cos the mods do a good job (I think in my history I've only ever complained twice about the mods job even though ultimately it was correct!).

You are simply stating the truth and how it is. In fact, to her credit, Stropz did send a statement through to us all that she accepted everything and wanted to move on. I guess we will all do this and everyone in the end will be happy.

Oh this sucks - but if they're all bitching about TiBB then good riddance, really. I mean come on - it's a forum about Big Brother, no need to be so petty!

Exactly.

I doubt the "source" that sent me the abusive U2U, but if it was true, so be it. Life works like that, you lose people, you gain people.

At the moment, I'm happy with people we have at the moment.

Aww I liked Ruth, but there's no need to slag TiBB off because they couldn't get their own way with the Stropz situation.

Anyone have a link to this forum?

If she left on free will then what's the point in trying to get her back?

To set the record straight , BBWorld has no poster by the name of Ruth*Star because BBWorld never took off and fell by the wayside.

During her short time their , Ruth*Star slagged absoloutely nobody off. The members of this forum as a whole were also not slagged off - only the forum in general.

It might be worth facing the concequences that Ruth simply was not up to posting here much anymore - for whatever reason.

Its also worth mentioning that witchunts are not set for people who 'leave' for other forums. Theirs no set forum quota and people are more than welcome in other peoples playground.

Also , setting up a new forum was spurred by many , many more reasons than the so called 'Stropz Incedent' - you could just coin a phrase and say that this so called 'incedent' was the catalyst that started the minor exodus.

And in response to MarkChap?! - last time I checked the thread title and its original posts content , it was NOT trying to get Ruth back - it was simply asking where she had gone.

To be honest, I'd prefer to forget the whole thing, makes me a bit uncomfortable thinking about it.

Anyone who decides to post at TiBB, whether they be new, or people who posted before should be made welcome.

No reason not to. People on here who have fallen out have usually always resolved it.

Well check harder because it wasn't in response to the thread title, it was a reply to DoubleTrouble wanting someone to get her back.
