No, like I said, there's nothing wrong with him fancying someone and going after them, thats fine and normal. But she ended it. They had a drunken kiss that she tried to get out of and then told him they were just friends and thats all she wants to be. Brian became a creep after that, permanently touching her, going in to kiss her, keep going on about what they're gonna do together when they get out. He must've heard and understood what she said, and he can't miss the signs that she ain't interested.
Put it this way, I wouldn't want them to go for a night out together and leave him alone with a drunk and vulnerable Amanda
