Having checked the thread carefully I can't see where the question of who leaked the tape came into it. We were discussing the making of the tape.

Clearly given it was made in 2001 and at that time didn't know she would become famous it slightly less foolish of her to make it.

Believe me I don't know what goes on in the head of a sc*mbag who is willing to sell out his ex-girlfriend for cold hard cash. The only thing I can think of is the money wasn't right for Miss Wales but was enough for Imogen BB7. You have to remember this guy still lives in Imogen's home town and had to weigh up the financial gain against the shame of selling out his now famous ex-girlfriend. I think you said Imogen should have known "the tape was bound to come out into the public domain at some point" when in fact Imogen thought she had destroyed the tape herself and did not know her ex-boyfriend had made a secret copy for himself. I understand now that you were initially misinformed about the date of the video and perhaps you are right about her being slightly foolish about making the tape in the first place. But in no way could she have known after destroying that tape that it would resurface six years down the line on some internet porn site.

The tape was made between themselves for fun, like some other couples to do, Imogen's intention wasn't to release that tape on the internet, but keeping a tape with a happy memory of her love making to her boyfriend. Once their relationship was over Imogen wanted to destroy the tape as they no longer are a happy couple as they once were. how she would of known that someone she trusted and loved turned out to be a disgusting pervert. My argument was based around he fact the tape was made after 2003 at which point she was already famous. If it was made after that date she would have realised the risk involved in making the tape. As it was made before that date, and hence before she became famous, the implications allowing the tape to be made wouldn't have crossed her mind at all. It would have been just a bit of fun at the time. In addition to this the fact that she thought she had the only copy which she destroyed does allow us to conclude that she had no part in it's release on the Internet.

So I think we are basically in agreement.

Clearly Travis has corrected the original date mentioned in the thread for the making of this tape and given us more insight into the whole affair. However without the misinformation before his posts the accusations made by myself about her being foolish wouldn't have been made in the first place. So the lesson to be drawn from this is not to believe all you read from other posters who you believe are experts on a particular series.
