Make you're bed? But you'll be sleeping in it soon?

But how would wireless ones work with my computer? I use them to watch stuff when my bro is in the room as I can't have the sound on the speakers.

I'm doing a 2000 word essay on Victorian crime and the shift in dealing with it after The Enlightenment period. Fun fun fun... *cry* fun fun... *weep*...

I thought it'd be finished by now but I have to do extensive referencing.
I was going to go to my boyfriends tonight too, I'm thinking it might be too late now despite him only living 10 mins away.

Lauren, honestly, what's Uni life like? Obviously the party aspect is great which is pretty much my main incentive for Uni which is pretty pathetic.

But what are the lectures like? I've had people tell me you pretty much teach yourself as the lectures are rubbish, etc.

I'm currently debating Uni/6th form, really tempted to drop 6th form and try something else. I told my mum that I'm pretty sure I didn't want to go to Uni now ... she weren't best pleased.

I'm going to be honest with you... Uni is the most amazing thing I've ever done in my life. The social life takes up 95% of it (even though it shouldnt). Every single night you can go out, there's always events, something to do, new people to see, new/weird things to experience!

It's only towards the end of term when you get a sudden big workload (I have 2 essays, 1 lab report, 1 presentation and a class test - all within the next 2 weeks!).

However, in general you only go to lectures about an hour per day, sometimes two - and they're not even compulsory. There's only 5 hours of my week thats compulsory, and I'm doing a science degree, so for most degrees it's only 2 hours compulsory.

Edit: Also, even the fact you move away from home is a new, fun experience in itself. You live with teenagers - you can't get more social! I had someone visit me this weekend and they're currently in 6th form and they were shocked at how social it actually was, they said something like 'Everyday seems like a year, cos you cram so many new experiences into it'

I'll stop rabitting on about it now.
I'd highly recommend Uni, but it's up to you and may not be for you.

I'm buying a keyboard. I used to play it a couple of years back in school and stopped, I now want one again to cure my boredom.

Can you play Jingle Bells Mark?

That all sounds great, the social aspect but I don't want to end up getting into debt and getting nowhere with my degree as I'm not exactly motivated at the minute with my a-levels and this is with teachers nagging me constantly so having nobody there nagging and the fact that I'd probably spend the majority of my time pissed, stoned and off my face on whatever else I could find puts me off it a lot as I don't want to waste 3 years of my life and get into a lot of debt and get nowhere from it.

But yeah, if I do go, moving away is definatly what I want to do, I think moving away for Uni is all part of it, the whole Uni experience type thing.

I need a kick up the arse and need to decide what I want to do as everyday I get closer to walking out of 6th form but I don't want to make that decision and then regret it.
