Is the Universe in fact a spec of dust in a larger world? Thats possible but nobody could ever know for sure except Dr who. Noone else owns a tardis and can time travel
How does time work? I dont know, all I do know is we all age over time and the sun rises in the morning and sets in the evening. Spring summer autumn and winter will all occur in exactly the same order each year.
