Hi!
There are a lot of contestant popularity contests on TiBB, many appreciation threads and several +1/-1 games. Now it's time to find out who is the most popular contestant in the form of an 8 series wide, knockout style tournament! It all sounds complicated, but don't worry. I've taken all 123 contestants from series 1-8, and added the 5 winners of the Celeb BBUK series, so we have 128 contestants in total. I then formed a random bracket, pairing up all housemates vs one other housemate. Every day, starting soon we will have a poll on the website where you can vote for your favorite housemate from the two. If they win, they will go through to round 2, with all the other round 1 winners. This process will continue until there is just 1 housemate remaining. I have made the pairings, which were done at complete random. I won't go into details, but I basically cut out all names on a bit of paper and put them in a bag and drew them at random. Each match will be available to vote on for 24 hours. So every day there will be one match to vote on. So this is a long competition, hopefully which will end just before BB9! There will be a prediction competition, and a guess the winning % competition that will run parallel to this. I'm currently looking for people to run these separate things. It will require you to add up the daily results on who guessed correctly, as the competition goes on. So if you can dedicate a little time every evening, and are quite good at math - give me a U2U saying which you'd like to do. I'll then decide who will do it and let you know. The start date will be announced SOON. Now... time for the cool bit! Below is the bracket as it starts! ![]() If you have any questions/comments/ideas let me know in this thread, and if they are good I'll see about adding them before we start soon. - Mark If the above image doesn't load, try here |
