It seems the trolls have captured Mark and put one of theirs in his place.

What an evil plan, to get us at each others throats whilst they carry out their evil deeds elsewhere with out us to thwart their evil schemes.

Hold your horses, Sticks old matey! We've made one heck of a jump here. From a jokey little comment about smileys to trolls, and Mark substitutes etc. I'm concerned, Sticks, we don't want you slipping back into doom and gloom again, now do we? I've just read the interactive story and it's not exactly cheerful, is it? So I turn from that to this thread and what do I find scary images of trolls

Those of us who find ourselves with a foot in the twilight world are able to see those trolls that would harm us. These trolls are usually invisible to those with sunny dispositions, and that is what they count on.

Oh, a slight exaggeration, me thinks Sticks - I would call it friendly disagreements. I'm sure no malice was intended in anyone's replies - they were only giving their opinions. It would be a boring world indeed if everyone agreed with each other all the time.

Now hang on a minute ROB, I've put in a lot of effort on old Sticks here. I've worked hard to turn him into the happy chappy you see above, and then what happens, along you come with your smileys and your clever clog, clown pictures and think you can take over Sticks. I think you could have a bit of a fight on your hands here. Now that Sticks is converted to whistling 'sing Hallelujah come on get happy' at every available opportunity I'm not sure I like the idea that he should be yours.
In fact, it could be custard pies at dawn, if you don't back off!!

Sticks, old bean. I'm so glad that you've given that ROB the old heave-ho. Too big for her boots that one. Trying to muscle in on our special friendship, just because she's learnt to add smarty-pants, clown pictures, she thinks she can lure you away. Don't be taken in by her charms, Sticks, stay well clear of her, you know it makes sense! Remember it was I who first introduced you to happiness and joyful postings and turned you away from doom and gloom into the little ray of sunshine we see above.
