Boo, that's a shame. Why scrap the cast which makes the show so successful? I'll probably watch the next series just to see how the new cast do but I'm going to miss seeing all the current cast and the characters they play.

It was people like Chris and the others that made the first episode fun to watch. Ill be honest with you it takes me a really long time to actually start to like programmes but i thought skins was great the first time i watched it and that was because of the cast. If they get a new cast i dont think im going to like it x

Gah, just as i've gotten really into it too this season.
Honestly, I do think it's a good idea. I mean, what else could they do with these characters? Constant relationship break-ups/get-back-togethers get tiring after about the second time, and everyone's seeming to fit into their place.

I don't want to let go of these characters, but I feel it's better to. I just don't know how Series 3 will be as successful as Series 1 or Series 2, especially since the current actors started out not knowing it's success, and I feel like they're the creators of the show. They made the show, but it'll be interesting to see how the newcomers develop.

Sucks that I was just getting into Effy's character.

I think it's a great idea... I will really miss these characters... but the truth is, they get in sooooooooo much crap, if they make another season and they get into even more, it'll become extra-unbelievable.

I'm there's no way one gang of misfits can get into so much trouble as it is! I'll miss them though... especially Maxxie and Cassie.

do u think they will move were the drama is based or do you think it will still be set in bristol? When i first heard this ages ago, i thought maybe they would just move the focus onto effy more. Does anyone know anymore info?

Personally I think its silly, we are just really getting to know the characters now, I think it will be a wrong move but thats just my opinion

My friend reckons its the main guys sister... I dont watch it so I dont know his name... but its his sisters mates my friend believes. Because of the way the second series ended.

Lets me focus more at Uni as this would be one less show I would watch.

I only really got into it as everyone had their own story and as good as the show was, they were just beginning and there's so much yet to be explored. But if the writers would find it easier to start from scratch, so be it.

I think its quite good, coz im quite bored of the origina cast now. their stories have been done...

Theres no point in changing the whole cast. Just a few, but EVERYONE :|
I'll miss them, but who knows, the new cast may be even better
But it'll feel like watching a totally new program :S
