No i hate twists using the prize fund it sort of messes up the game.
I have only watched one big brother and the celebr hijack so I wont know weather they have done a similar twist before to past big brothers?

I was not too happy about the way Liam was given that money it was a silly idea and I dont think big brother got the reaction they were really hoping for from the housemates I think that big brother were hoping for rage and fury or even big concern from the rest of the housemates but they did not do that really much
During BB3 I think (cant remeber) more than 1 HM got prize money in the end

During BB5 Kitten had alot of money deducted for refusing the leave the house during her eviction/ejection. The housemates earned the prize fund in live tasks.

During BB6 Eugine was offerred £50 000 of the prize fund in the final week and took it.

During BB7 Nikki re-entered after living with 4 other Ex-Housemates in a second house (HND) and was eligable of winning the prize fund. This made some viewers complain.
No just Kate got. And the Nikki thing didn't really effect the prize fund.
It did affect the prize fund, infact If I remember righly Davina pointed that out herself.

Nikki got evicted, that should have been the end. She re-entered and gained a second chance, meaning the others had less of a chance of winning and caused house arguments.
But it didn't effect the amount of money! If thats the case then same thing with Kinga.
It very well could have been. I'll try and find an article about Nikkis re-entry affecting the final and who got the money.

EDIT: It's deffinatly here somewhere: http://www.channel4.com/entertainmen...news/index.jsp

That would make it much more compettative than ever especially for the housemates that are a bit skint like Tracy and that big girl, who I cant remmember at the minute, they would really have had their hearts on the money
Yeah it would be awesome to see how the housemates fight for money then we won't get the "I'm not here for money, I'm here for the human experience" speech.
And the housemates will be more involved in the tasks because sometimes they are so lazy !

No leave the prize fund alone I say! Besides that twist fell flat on its face because they always knew there was going to be to 2 prize funds and nobody was bothered when they announced there was two! £250, 000 was the highest prize fund ever in BB6 if Eugene hadn't taken the £50k.
The idea was they were supposed to be fooled into believing that there may be no prize fund for the winner at the end as Liam was getting it but it did fall in its face true
Please don't take this the wrong way but - why are you telling me this? Surely my post made it seem like I knew?
I dont need to take it the wromng way, I was just agreeing with you that it fell flat on its face thats all.

and I said they were supposed to be fooled, you said they knew there was to be two prize funds, not big brothers idea actually! I agree it was a silly idea

Nikki re-entering in the house never affected the prize fund. Complains have been made about Nikki re-entering but it was never stated the prize fund would change, whatsoever.

Thanks for that, also if the twins had won they would have been counted as one, so the prizefund would have been split between them not that it matters much as they probably share the same bank account well maybe?

Why did kitten refuse to leave
Oh Kitten was this anarchist/rebel who felt the need to constantly voice her opinion. She later admitted though that it was just cause she was afraid of being booed! (Turned out there was no crowd at her eviction)

Oh, and the Twins do share a bank account (I read it somewhere)
I only guesswed about the twins having a shared bank account, that was a lucky guess lol

I read all the articles on that and none of them mention the prize fund changing.

Its much worse for the runner up especially if the house and the housemates are doing their head in

That much money is just huge. I think they should keep it at that (or lower) and donate the rest to charity.

Jason, Dan and Shell would have had the worst blow probz. They had to live for 11 weeks under the whole Evil format, playing by new harsher rules, sticking with constant clashes and arguing, taking part in tasks including purposly throwing up, dangling over nettles and drinking blended animal guts, being constantly tricked and sprung apoun. And if thats not enough, they worked for it then watching it being snatched from them one by one.

I think BB5 should have had a split prize fund for all the finalists.

It definatley needs to go up to £500 000 this year, with 2 other finalists getting their own chunk. They will all have to work for it on a live Fri/Sat challenge, and it's tonnes easier to have money deducted.

£500,000! Where do you think they can get that sort of money to just give away!

Well, they spend an average of 20 odd million per series. I'm sure they could scape it up .BBUS gave a total of 1.5 mill not to long ago

I wonder if they raised the prize fund it would create more tension in the house. More camera time; more publicity; higher chance of winning.

And I'd love some bitchy competition in there, so, they should raise it.

They should put it up to make it worth while. I think it should be a million.
How many people would audition if the prize money was a million squid?
