I saw the article too

I do think BB5 is highly over-rated. I was watching it on Youtube and got bored after Day 10
When you are entertained by freaks for 13 weeks, there is no wonder, people like you find BB5 boring and over-rated.

Not BB5, or BB6 - BB7

I think BB5 is highly over rated, i've been watching it on youtube, and got bored after week 2

Its rubbish, BB7 was much better, and CBB4 follows it

So the producers think themselve that BB7 was the greatest series ever.
Yeah for you maybe, but for most people BB5 is the best ever, and the housemates of BB5 rank as the top housemates. As far as the producers, all they meant was that BB8 wasnt as good as the year before. Of course they are gonna compare it to the previous year. Not ages ago! You completely missinterpreted waht they meant!

The house has nothing to do with a series entertainment value?

But the colours were depressing. THe CBB5 house looked amazing though!

*yawn*

Why are people using so-called "producers' opinions" to justify their own?

BB7 and BB5 were both good. Which was better can be assessed in a number of ways but ultimately you can't say and this argument will never die, and quite frankly it's pathetic.

And Farhad, BB1 has better ratings than BB7, a member on DS confirmed it. The ratings were close but BB1 is now third.

But all the BB housemates are "freaks". It was really good up until Emma was kicked out (loved her). Then it went boring.

But in my opinion, BB5 had its fair share of "freaks" as well. So does every series for that matter.

At the NTA Awards did "Iam a Celebrity get me out of here" win for Reality Award.

BB7 not only won that the previous year and also managed to get another award to go alongside this and Nikki won that. So although BB7 received alot of complaints it obviously done well to win both categories, although, I did notice the new award had been scraped.

You say you got bored after day 10. Yet you still liked it until Emma got evicted, like day 20! What gives, I dont understand?? Anyways I see how you mustve found it boring, since you loved Emma so much, the psycho of the series. But the thing is, with BB series, its a matter of personal opinion. SOme people hate BB5, most loved it. Same as BB7. The only measure you can use to compare them, is how the show did in the ratings. And clearly BB5 was the highest rated!

Another thing that boosts BB7's ratings is that alot of people seemed to start watching from then, thinking it was amazing because they hadn't watched any series previous.

BB AVERAGES (OFFICIAL FIGURES)

BIG BROTHER 3 (2002): 5.835 million
BIG BROTHER 5 (2004): 5.072 million
BIG BROTHER 7 (2006): 4.683 million
BIG BROTHER 4 (2003): 4.586 million
BIG BROTHER 6 (2005): 4.579 million
BIG BROTHER 2 (2001): 4.578 million
BIG BROTHER 1 (2000): 4.522 million
BIG BROTHER 8 (2007): 3.846 million

BB7 4.683 - BB1 4.522 = 0.161

If BB1 figures are taken away of BB7 then it will give us a minus number, for it to be postive figure, the 1st figure should be higher, and BB7 is higher with 4.683.

What???? What does that have to do with your thread title! That claims BB7 is the producers all time favorite BB series (ludicrous by the way)??????

Exactly, I thought the thread was about BB7 being the producers favourite series (which clearly is not)
