Its IBB getting hopes up. There probably isn't a press event and there probably won't be a press release today but IBB said there will be, not there may be, from their source of course which has proven unreliable in the past.

I wouldn't get too excited about it.

"I have heard there was a press event today but very little info will come of it due to several embargoes... high sources have been told though."

To me it just seems like educated guesses. He doesn't come across as though he is an insider and comes across as though he doesn't know what hes on about or whats going to happen with BB.

Well, as of now, a press release still hasn't been added to the C4 press site, it may be released later today, maybe midnight, but I doubt it, normally press releases are usually issued around midday.

I suppose it depends on how much they want to promote it. It is only 3 weeks away now.

It's more to do really about the situation with housemates in lockdown and how many secrets they can reveal before hand.

If they released it now it probably be a very standard press pack with just the logo, confirmation of the presenters and start date and interviews which reveal nothing.
