BB6 was much better than the last two BB's. I think BB6 was the last great BB series, even if that pratt Anthony won. I hope Ms Powers trys to create the same kind of vibe that we had in BB6 but with hopefully a better winner.

BB6 was the last series I really enjoyed everything about it was great apart from the winner so I am really happy with her working on BB9. I am starting to think that BB9 could be rivaling BB5 as the best series.

BB6 wasn't that good, but that was because of the housemates, most tended to be vile and nasty, you couldn't relate or warm to hardly any of them. But the tasks were still good and the twists were decent enough.

Also CBB4 was one of the best series in recent years, so I think Sharon Powers as producer of BB9 is a good thing.

Whoever said BB7 had a lack-lustre start should compare it to the opening of BB8.

To me, BB6 was the best Ive seen. From the start with the Unlucky Housemate twist with Makosi. The sheer brilliance of Makosi`s act. It was pure gold. With Sharon Powers at the helm this is set to be the best series yet!

I think thats the main reason why its ratings weren't that good.

Full of fakes? Shame, I was about to say the same about BB7 and 8.

BB6 was actually the last actually good Big Brother, the past two have been wannabes and fame-hungry glamour girls. Hopefully this years cast will be as good as BB6's.
Sam's opening statement was "hi, I'm Sam. I've always wanted to be famous"

On the opening night, Anthony and Vanessa (i think) were saying how they want to experience something after BB, and that they couldn't wait to be recognised.

I personally think they were the biggest load of wanabes ever to set foot in the house
You're right on Sam, but compared to BB7 and BB8 there aren't as many wannabes. Granted the fact that there were more housemates in BB7 and BB8 than there were in BB6, but who has really fought for fame? Nikki, Aisleyne, Charley, Chanelle, the list can go on.

I think the problem with BB6 was more the housemates than the producers but i loved BB6 i only liked a select few housemates but for me i dont mind as long as they are messed with by BB

This news is great! The series needs someone who can handle a show like Big brother. Obviously, having played a part in BB6. CBB4 (and possibly BB5?) which are the best 3 series ever, BB9 should be amazing! :

The most popular BB's by viewing figures are 3,5 and 7. 6 was really popular too. I think if BB9 was half as good as BB6 it'd be doing well!

Yeah, Makosi is one of my favourite housemates ever, she should have been in BB5 rather than BB6.

The production of BB6 was good and Big Brother himself was quite funny during the series, but the housemates just were too nasty and always at each other's throats. Lots of bullying went on as well from Team Smug.

I really liked Science in that series, but even he was argumentative, but it was his outcast role and his complete lack of care of 'fitting in' or sucking up to the others that made me really like him.

Makosi was great too as I've mentioned but after the whole 'pregnancy' stuff, she started to go down hill.

But yeah, Sharon Powers is a good choice for BB9, she was behind CBB4 and that was a brilliant series, so let's hope she can bring Big Brother back big time this year.
