If it is true it would be great, but I can't imagine any of the current candidate doing a Katie Hopkins on us!

He has a point because one of my friends sister does something to do with the apprentice and 3 weeks beforehand he was able to tell me who won last year, so they don't record the final a few days beforehand. It's normally a couple of weeks.
I remember loosing out a bet to him because I didn't believe him.

I can't believe SamR92, because he won't tell anyone who does win. And anyway, why would they go so far in the competition and turn the job down? There could be a couple of reasons, but it is a little silly.

gutted? excuse me if i'm wrong but doesn't that mean that you are extremely sad or disappointed? We wouldn't exactly be gutted if we are proved wrong. It may have been filmed, but it doesn't really make a difference.

Just be quiet, we'll soon see won't we. Stop getting all defensive if you're 100% sure you're right.

Yeah it was filmed months ago, and more than one ending is also filmed.

If you were that confident you wouldn't need to go on the attack.

The task is filmed months ago, however the result isnt. Sir Alan confirmed on Jonathan Ross that they film the result just a few days before it airs.

EDIT: See Sir Alan say it himself here (6:35)

I'm actually a bit inclined to believe this now. I read on another forum ...

[spoil]Before the winning team is announced, Alex says he does not want the job[/spoil]

which ties in with the story from the OP but not exactly the same ...
