Au contraire mon ami. I have nothing against the French. Prior French policies maybe, but not the French. Just as you, I am sure, have animosity against some U.S. leaders but not Americans as a whole.

The "Kat" reference as a minority was an attempt as humor. (Humour if you will)

The assertion that as a Republican I am against gays is a false assertion Alexandra. (How did she get out of the house?)

I am not a Republican. I am a conservative. Similar but different: a la British and Europeans. Similar, but different.

If you'd like for me to explain why B Hussein O'Bama (Irish?) will be the victim of one of the most lop-sided losses in U.S. election history I'd be happy to explain it to you but probably on a different forum.

And you were wrong. The Sri Lankans love us. One country down, 167 to go.

I love how some people accuse this American of being Republican because he listed gay as a perhaps 'abnormal' quality of HMs, yet no one questioned the fact he also listed transvestite? Is this to say personally you list transvestites as weird, but not gays? In which case it's hypocrisy.

I, myself an American, disagree with your opinion; however, I am also appalled at what Darnell mentioned about how easy it is to live in the US, saying that you could do nothing and be a millionaire.

I just think that because he was deported (supposedly), he left with a bad taste in his mouth and an anti-American perspective.

Everything else, I disagree with.

Don't push the PC crap. There are no transvestites this series. This moron was pushing "gays" because there is a gay guy in it, and they wrote this: "What is the fascination with these shows?"

Barack "Hussein" Obama is a Republicanism, pointing out his middle name, an Arab name, which must mean that he's a closeted terrorist.

Obama is our next president btw.

The first thing that gave this fool away, was the use of the term, "laizee-faire". Republicans throw this around and other "key words", without ever understanding their true meanings, nor the history behind them.

And how did you miss this:

C: Overbearing hate-mongers (We get that enough of our own in the U.S. - But we call them Democrats and put them on public television)

Only "Democrats" put gays, lesbians, etc., on television because they are amoral, against "family values", don't read the Bible, etc.

This person is a Republican who is now in hiding because their party f-ed up the entire country and has made us a laughing stock. Next they'll be calling themselves Libertarians. Yes dear, you're a Social Conservative, ie, Republican.

Believe me, this troll isn't fooling anyone. I know these people like the back of my hand.

Here's a little tip for Friend_of_Nobody, BB is not the show for you. Too bad you can't send a billion complaints to Oxfam from the US, telling them how this is "devil tv", and children should not be exposed to homosexuals!

Thank god we have an American on here, and not just the Representative of D umbass.

Gosh, why is this person even trying to watch BB? To even attempt to bash BB in the UK, when the US version is just as horrible, is beyond comprehension.

I myself like Americans. We cannot generalise a whole nation just because of an american TiBB member by the name of 'Friend_of_Syd'.

However 'Friend_of_Syd' you are entitled to your own opinion, as we all are.

But I disagree with your first post.

As an American myself, I can firmly say whoever this guy is does not represent us.

Judging the entire British public based on their Big Brother contestants is as ignorant as judging our entire US public based on OUR Big Brother contestants...who are often crazy, slutty, whiny, bible thumpers.

Anyone who thinks Barack Obama (Oo let's throw in his scary middle name!) will lose after double the turn out of McCain rallies nearly everywhere in America is clearly out of touch. Please, do not listen to him and do not judge us based on his opinions.

And saying "yanks are planks" is just as ignorant as the original poster himself. Cheers!

Don't worry, not everyone is as ignorant as him. Like he'd ever know more about the uk than people who actually lived here anyway just because he happens to have been here a couple of times and watches the uk bb

Ok well Yanks to me are the overly patriotic flag waving "Americans", the conservative type, the 'Friend_Of_Syd' type...

To my knowledge, he isn't exactly a small minority in "America" is he? So i'll judge as i see fit to.

Most people just tend to use 'Yank' as a slang term for any American from the US- not a particular type of person from the US...

Yeah ''Yank'' is just another term for an american...however i'd prefer to call them simply 'americans' cos yank is too rude i feel.

If an american called us ''Limeys'' wouldnt we prefer to be called 'British'' (or English/Welsh/Scottish/Irish whatever)?

I would.
