Give it a rest. Internet forum polls. Most people who watch BB,watch it one hour every night. Internet viewers usually watch live feeds and every detail of the housemates. and they have the consensus of hating mario, for the past couple of days, because of liitle things he says on LF. Jennifer was favorite to go until thursday. The majority of the public only watch highlights, and dont care if mario sayd this or that. The main story all week, was the wedding task, and everyone knows steph, was the one who sucked on that task, so everyone blames her for the 4 being up for eviction. Therefore the voters evicted her. GET OVER IT! MOVE ON!

When Davina was on the platform thingy, she said " .... the votes are 50(%?) for Mario and 30(%?) for Steph - blah blah blah - but there's still 46mins left to get your votes in". There's no way Steph could get another 21% of votes and Mario got none. I'm not saying it's impossible, just improbable!

I'm not sure if it was just before or just after the eviction that Mario turned to Mike and said that there was no way BB would bring in a real couple and split them up so early. Cocky or what?

It'll be Alex next week and Mario the week after - that's if anybody's still bothering to watch!?

I'm losing interest in this series, esp the non-crowd involvement part; what's the point in them even turning up - except to get on TV that is? Scaring the nasty housemates by letting them hear the jeering was all part of the fun.
If BB make any more silly changes there's going to be nothing worth watching!

Stop annoying us with posting calling us muppets.
Thing is, Mario was as short as 1/50, which is VERY strange to be wrong, although it can be as it obviously was.

I just find it strange. Im not saying it was C4 doingit on purpose, but maybe a technical fault or a third party problem

I watch BB more than the average viewer, but I accept it when someone I like gets evicted, because I know they were the leastpopular houaemate for the voters. I dont go calling for a recount like its that serious!

Reason why Steph got voted out was because she was unpopular till tuesday, and then from tuesday onwards people were probably still voting her out just because Mario was favourite doesn't mean everyone stops voting for her.

Does anybody have any factual basis to say there's a fix?

Some have said they tried evicting Mario (or perhaps someone other than Stephanie) but couldn't get through.

To counter this - I, and one or two other members, have stated that we were unable to vote for Stephanie at times. Therefore the lines were just busy, and you should have voted again when you could. I did.

All of these polls and discussions aren't reflective of the whole of the country. There are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of people who just occasionally watch the show and cast a few votes here or there. They don't phone in BBLB, or post on BB forums, or vote in unofficial polls...they're not that obsessed with the show.

And besides - do you honestly think Channel 4 and Endemol would risk a fixing scandal like these after the countless examples made with shows like the X Factor, Blue Peter, Deal or No Deal, Richard & Judy etc...? They don't have the millions of pounds worth of fines to potentially lose.

Ultimately, I think that Stephanie went as a result of early-week voting. Before Mario became bitchy around Wednesday/Thursday - Stephanie was the strong favourite to go. And think about it; most people vote when the lines are recently announced. So although the hate swung from Stephanie to Mario later last week - not as many people were voting.

None of us work in these call centres, and to speculate on the matter is just further damaging the credibility of Big Brother. She was a fairly good housemate, but she was evicted fair and square. There is no evidence to prove otherwise, so move on.

I dont think C4 would do it, but I do believe there may have been a technical error, or a third party mistake

Maybe a goose flew in and ate all of Mario's votes.

Maybe the Government has secret files on Stephanie posing a threat to national security.

Maybe there's a nuclear reactor in her nose which only a few powerful figures know about, so they enforced her eviction.

All of these are possible theories. Doesn't mean any of them have any gravitas, though.
