No, you're getting this all totally wrong. Alex was chucked out for threatening other housemates, not because she talked 'gangster' as you put it. Darnell is being insulting (to some people....) however he is NOT being threatening. If Big brother chucked everyone out who insulted each other there would be no-one left.
I'm not getting this wrong and obviously i'm well aware of the threatening behaviour which was totally unacceptable.

My point is that in this Country the term B*tch is seen as a derogatory and offensive term used to discribe women
and yet appears to be acceptable in the house.

I think this is total double standards and that BB should make him aware of the English definition.

That's all i meant
Um, do you know the English definition of bitch? It means a female dog. I don't think that's really going to enlighten anyone.

I think it's a matter of opinion. If I were in the house with him and he referred to me as a bitch, then I'd pull him up about it.

But, obviously the housemates in there with him don't have a problem with it, or they haven't heard him saying it.
Or is everyone tiptoeing around him?
I'd say no. I don't think people will tiptoe around him. He's quite brash, so I think people would tend to say to him if he was being offensive.

The other thing is who he calls 'bitches'. If he uses it as a general term for women, it's slightly less offensive than if he uses it on one of the girls in the house.
I don't think he is using it on individuals. As i said earlier its anamericanism as for example is the word f*ggot,
Would this be acceptable?
Uh, the f-word is not an Americanism. Perhaps you wrote that wrong. That is UNACCEPTABLE in the US.

When you use terms like the f-word, or the n-word, you are sectioning out a portion of society. Men against women is an even playing field. It's a 50/50 battle. There are unacceptable words to call women, of course. But bigoted slurs are made a huge deal out of because it's picking on a specific minority, against all others.
