I would rather not believe and go to hell if it is true.
I'm not wasting my time on believing in anything which can't be proven.
Like I said people who believe good for them, it helps some people but I think religion is stupid and should be forgotten.

Everyone knows Hell isnt a true place, even the Church
but if you dont waste your time in beliveing something that cant be proven, then there is nothing much to belive in

Yeah, I think the church just use hell to scare people so that they won't sin in their lives. However, I expect most Christians do sin at some point in their lives.

Yes, of course you can call people's beliefs stupid, I could call the Queen a S**t but it doesn't make it true. And I didn't mean that you could type 'people are stupid', I meant it is completly morally wrong.

I have very strong opinions on religion... i wont express it here. But I will say that whenever i see religious people i am honestly shocked that people still believe in it. 2000 years ago I could understand =/ Personally I think it is an escape of people being frightened of the truth.

Edit: And to the people saying "Nobody knows" it has SO been proven that god doesnt exist people just choose to ignore it and the pope will change things about so that it sounds like god did it, he had a clever way of getting round the evolution fence.

Religion is the ultimate hard drug. Its followers are a confused bunch who choose to only believe in certian segments to suit their tastes while in fact they know absoloutely NOTHING , for the most part.

Their is no such thing as a religious child , only a child born to religious parents. A child cannot decide such things as their choosen faith.

Religion is doing more damage in this day and age than the moral code it apparently intends to uphold.

Quite a number of scientists have or had a religious faith, such as Newton, Dalton and Kelvin.

It was faith which prompted many to study the world and become the early pioneers of science.
