Yes, I did watch BB8.

And although it wasnt the best series, it hads its moments.

I don't think BB8's problem was good housemates going, it was bad choices by BB. Halfway House ruined it.

Housemates should make the series, not uninspired twists thought up by the producers.

We need new housemates, only because so many big characters have gone.

The alternative reason that people may vote HM's out that appear to be entertaining is because they lose the ability to continue to be in the house and continue with the experience. How many of us would secretly like to be in there but to watch bitchy, nasty behaviours coming from HM's when you of course will be so much better!!!

After all they get nominated due to negative behaviour towards other HM's and if anyone is to blame for the 'big characters' leaving is the 'big characters' themselves.

In the early stages you have to hover under the radar a bit to avoid nomination - but saying that even Rachel and Kat got nominated - but cannot accuse them of being boring.

I like Bex and Luke when they have a larf but if Luke was not there not sure if I would like Bex. Sometimes I am glad Mario stayed although wanted him out initially. Think Mario and Lisa's musing make me chuckle!

I think the problem is attractive girls get voted out very easily. Like Sylvia for example. Even some of the most innocent housemates have been evicted for being fit and that should be stopped.

She did. She had nothing to offer and she mucked up the task being a lazy brat.

Sorry, but Alex, and Sylvia, HAD TO GO! Jen will be next. I have no problems with these people getting the boot. They weren't entertaining, they were annoying!

Steph's the only one who I felt angry about.

Only if you find bitching and moaning and being a whinging toddler entertaining then all the entertaining housemates have gone/are going.

Lisa, who has provided us with barely any entertainment was up for eviction in week 1, yet Steph went. Steph done more in that week than Lisa will do in the whole series. Lisa isn't likely to be nominated again in a hurry, and was only up in the first place because they failed their secret mission. At any oppurtunity the dull housemates are up, we should evict them because who knows when they will next be up? It happened last year with Carole and Tracey. They were up in the first eviction with Shabnam then Billi the next (who both went) and they sailed through for a couple of months without being nominated. The same will happen for Lisa, Mohammed etc.

It's bad enough with the boring housemates not being nominated (Rachel) so when they are we should seize the oppurtunity.

This year's BB has almost already ran out of momentum due to big characters going and it's got a massive 9 weeks left.

It makes me angry that the audition process is intended to find dynamic interesting people. And the ones which are exactly that are evicted within a few weeks which almost makes the effort of the auditions pointless.

[/Rant]

Could not agree more. Sadly it won't change because so many play BB like a fairground shooting gallary and shoot them down as soon as they become noticed instead of realizing that a pshchology based format needs to played with psychology in mind instead of knee jerk reactions of love, dislike or hate.

Another factor that helps remove volatile characters are the gamblers who are in it for a quick buck and have no interest in the puruty of the format at all.....

She did deserve to go. If you forgot, she put the least amount effort into her task and all she did was whine and complain about it to Big Brother. It doesn't matter if Mario is a 40 year old man. Its not like she had to sleep with him. When you go into Big Brother you have to be prepared for anything and obviously, Steph wasn't prepared.

you dont keep someone in because they act like a twat... where's the logic in that? i dont wanna see the same argument over and over again... keeping them their is drowning the house and making them all depressed .. i dont wanna see that i wanna see fun and games and a bitta laughter

I'm over thinking of the bitches are the ONLY ones that can hold the show up. The bitches seem to be replacing eachother this year and they all act basically identical so no worries there!

For the first time I'm ok with losing the strong characters because it gives the weak characters a chance to step up, as they have. Jen and Bex were invisible when Alex was around...can't wait to see who would step up if Jen and Bex were gone, because I can't imagine it. We could actually end up getting to know a whole cast this way.

People have different opinions on what is entertaining. And as much as I agree, we have to keep the entertaining people in - I'd rather watch fun entertaining people then bitchy, two-faced ones.

With Steph, she has nothing to offer. She was in the house for the wrong reasons, and was predictable. Lisa maybe dull, but she gave 100% in the task and deserved to stay.

With Sylvia, she was just an attention seeker. She was fun for five minutes but she became very boring. Mohamed may have been quite but the housemates didnt like him and it annoyed them that he was still there.

Now with Jen, its the same story. I like her and Rex, but I think the housemates will be more surprised and annoyed that Rex stayed over Jen and it will make good viewing.

This is what the Jen supporters can't grasp. No-one even heard a peep from Jen while Alex was there and Alex's few fans were going on and on about her leaving would ruin the show. What aload of tosh. Sylvia was 100 times more entertaining than Alex. Unfortunately she went because she was smoking hot.

Get Jen out. Then Bex will take over. Get Bex out and Luke will take over. Get Luke out and someone else will take over....and so on and so on. The perfect housemates have been picked this year.

Good riddance to Jennifreak.

And I'm fed up of people automatically assuming that 'the most entertaining housemates' are the ones which cause the most conflict- i have learnt that that is not the case! Alex made things boring by causing repetitive arguments which frankly were not entertaining! Jennifer going will not make the house boring- i actually think things will become more interesting.

did you miss my point, about jen and bex formerly being invisible/weak when alexandra was still in the house? Remember Bex not even being able to respond to Alex during Chipgate?

These are dynamic personalities and relationships, and they make for interesting viewing. So we dont have one solid villain to hate for a whole summer, not a huge problem for me. Their boots have all been very satisfying, and whether you want to believe it or not, others have stepped up in their place.

I agree with Lauren!
For me, what makes the show entertaining is the way BB drives them crazy with tasks and punishments!
I don't like watching people being nasty! For that, I watch the news!
Steph and Sylvia were wannabes and Jennifer needs to know she is not her parents little princess anymore and needs to get real!
The show is about REAL people, and, for me, the only REAL people in the house are Darnell, Rex and Cat!
