Example 1 - she lost them in a custody case to Kevin Federline. You can't be good and lose to that.

Example 2 - wasn't she photographed driving with her baby sat on her lap instead of in a baby-seat.

Example 3 - though this one isn't the case any more, apparently - she USED to go out, get drunk and make a fool of herself. Whilst this didn't directly affect her children then; it's hardly setting a great role model to her children. They're going to grow up and hear stories like that. Maybe they'll be the same aged 18.

I could say more but I'm not too interested in the subject tbh I just thought I'd stick my oar in

Well, she's far from a good one, seriously now, you can't be oblivious to this because you're a 'fan'.

Thats ridiculous, talk about an extremist opinion. And that what it is - an opinion and it's just your one. Someone else may consider how Britney behaves is being a bad mother and you should gracefully except that because it's their opinion and they're entitled to it, same as you are entitled to yours.

Oh and I should also mention that I hope she recovers from whatever problems she has (I've forgotten now with the media focus switching to Amy Winehouse In fact I haven't heard any Britney-is-a-mess stories in a while. She must be doing well.). I like her music Plus she seems quite a sweet person from interviews and TV appearances I've seen with her.

You're allowed to disagree with other people's opinions though. None of this PC crap of "I have my opinion and you have yours". No. I believe my opinion is correct, otherwise it wouldn't be my opinion!

WHAT? its called being a fan.
Just because no one loves you doesn't mean you can question how defensive her fans are.
You can be a fan and be respectful to other's opinion at the same time.

Example 1 - She lost them because she didn't turn up for a court case and because some fat son of a bitch claimed she took drugs around them. The reason she supposedly didn't turn up was because she was too scared of loosing them, which I can understand.

Example 2 - That was because she was being hounded that day, and she didn't want to waste time strapping in her baby, so she made a quick escape. She said this in an interview.

Example 3 - Kevin hardly sees his kids. Hes always out partying, whilst Britney is at home. He took drugs on the set of the TV show he's filming. Britney was always with her kids. And who says a woman can't go out and party?

Can you explain why the paparazzi had their camera's pointing upwards whilst she got out the car? Can you explain why this affects her parenthood?

What is sick about it?

Thats fine, that's your opinion. I can accept that and respect it. I'm not denying you the right to disagree with me. I'm just asking that people could be a little bit more open minded. Some people on here don't even really read the posts. I mean yes they read to words but not the point behind them, they just see, "Britney . . . bad mother . . ." and immediately sring into action to defend her without even really taking what the other person has said to mind.

In fairness photographers go for the worst angle possible to get something like that. There was a famous case with a celebrity (I've forgot who) where the photographer literally put the camera up someones skirt and took a picture. Female celebrities have to be careful getting out of cars because photographers lie on the floor for low angle shots.

The defending of Britney is making me laugh so much
The excuses being made for some of the reasons she is a bad mother are pathetic.
ok you're a fan of Britney, doesn't mean you have to excuse her for all her actions, I am a fan of Jade Goody but I can't excuse her for he racism.
Are you just trying to be a good little fans?

1 - Whether or not she was 'scared of turning up', that's a piss-poor excuse for not at least trying to fight for their custody.

2 - Fair enough, I'm sure all mothers make some mistakes like that anyway.

3 - Indeed, which makes the fact she lost custody to him somewhat harder to swallow. And I don't know; society? What kind of image does that set to her children?

Thats even worse! It means she was to **** scared of getting caught out for taking crac that she didn't even bother turning up to the court case that could've potentially loose her children.

Oh and please don't say that she didn't take drugs because neither you nor I have proof that she did or didn't.

Yeah I defended Jade until the transcripts were released with the racists comments, so I couldn't defend her for that
Some people obviously just can't accept Britney is a bad mother and carry on kidding themselves she is a good mother
