I'd be able to cast better intruders, at least. I could pick 3 random people off the street and they'd be more interesting and entertaining.
Your just another person who has no idea. Their are restrictions. Their are limits. Their are all sorts of barriers and red tape. Their are people above you who want certain types of housemates. None of us have ANY idea how to cast and its pointless pretending we do. A lot of it is out of one direct persons control. A lot depends on who shows up to auditions.

Nobody is in tune with 'average viewer' because their is no such thing. One size does not fit all.
Of course there are restrictions and limits, but there are still choices. Thousands of people go to those auditions and around 20 are actually chosen. So yes, there a limits, but there are options as well. And what we're saying is we'd get to REMOVE the red tape and the people above us who want certain types, and get full control of BB as a fan. It would be interesting...pretty much impossible, but still.

One size does not fit all, but there is such a thing as the average viewer, and what the average person likes and dislikes. Casting does not require a degree to be proficient, just experience...and most of us have 9 seasons of experience weighing out the pros and cons of casting decisions. I'd be surprised if they didn't have a study group of AVERAGE fans for casting already, because it would be very beneficial.

Wow, some people here are so rude. There are things I would be bad at, and there are things I would be good at. Recognizing that casting is something I would be good at doesn't make me arrogant.
The problem is, it does make you arrogant because you clearly don't know what makes a good housemate - case in point: Mikey, Mario and Alexandra are your favourites

And the fact that you're petitioning to have an evicted housemate put back into the house just adds insult to injury. She was evicted. Get over it.
Well then, love. Let's have a look at your favorites, since you are so interested in bringing up the irrelevant (ignoring things I already explained):
Kathreya, Sara, Maysoon & Rachel

These housemates may be "nice" enough, but they're definitely not entertaining, and they definitely don't get the show ratings. People watch Big Brother if it's interesting, not if everyone in there is just boring all the time. I'm guessing you were one of the people who voted to evict Charley. It really just goes to show that you are quite ignorant about what makes good television and that you are the arrogant one. Thanks.
Look at my banner. Charley is one of my all time favourites.

You make an interesting point but even with the choices, their are restrictions and limits, and seeing as none of us know what they are, its pointless pretending that we would be a dab hand at casting.

Theirs no way you get to remove the red tape and decide on who will be the housemates for one of the biggest shows of the summer.

You need to look at it carefully. You need to cast characters with opposing views. Characters set on a course to create a storyline. Sorry, but a lot of BB is predetermined. Storylines are plotted months in advance then producers sit back and see do they happen.

Maybee you would manage all of that, but most of the forum would probably blindly pick the 20 biggest 'hir-ar-rious' housemates they can find or 20 flat out freaks and just chuck them in their like an ant farm.

It is all well and good saying what you can do, but until you can actually back that up, you just come across as someone arrogant. You're making these boasts about getting the ratings up and how good you would be, how exactly do you know that? People could end up not liking any of the housemates you've picked and not wanting to watch, unless you've actually proven yourself, you cannot say for sure that you can do it.
