but isnt she leaving there to go with a treatment straight away.....so her chances of being save, is likely high....

Chemotherapy makes you physically exhausted, sick (violently so, constantly excruciating vomiting and stomach wrenches). You sleep for hours a day, and when you're awake you're sick. Your hormones change and your mood changes, you feel upset easier and feel pain moreso.

This is the case a lot of the time in chemotherapy, not always as constant.

her cancer is not in critical condition...and shes going for treatments straight away....although the procces will be hard..she and her family knows this will be worth in the end....

Yes, from the constant vomiting the bile tears the stomach lining and the oesophagus which can lead to painful infections throughout the body.

I'm not saying this is always the case, but a lot of the time. It's definitely not an easy ride or a quick treatment.

All that you have said is true, including this, I've been through it, and never again its demoralising and with slow if any signs of positive results.

Its that bad, I won't put myself through it again despite my cancer which despite surgery still hasnt cleared.
I hope and pray that Jade/anyone else dosnt have to go through this agony where the treatment only makes you wish you were dead rather than the illness itself.

By refusing the treatments I have available, I know what outcome I'm destined for, but with no cure I'd rather be comfortable than put myself and my familly through the upset of the treatments, personally I'd rather die with some dignity.
I really hope Jade has a strong and good back up of friends and familly she's going to need them more than anything right now.

Sorry, I don't mean to be patronising I just don't think you fully understand the extent to which this is a danger. It's not just a case of "Oh they've found it early, now she's getting treated. Sorted".

It is. she may well not need chemotherapy though. Speaking from the experience of a close family member and another friend, radiotherapy is not that bad, depending on where you have to have it.

But cancer is a horrible thing, mentally as well as physically. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Default Jade Goody Diagnosed With Cancer On Big Brother

Quote:
Jade Goody has been diagnosed with cervical cancer, her spokesperson has said.

The reality TV star withdrew from the Indian Big Brother house, which she entered at the weekend, after learning the news.

She was reportedly called into the Diary Room, where her consultant passed on the results of tests she had taken earlier this month.

After running from the room in tears, the 27-year-old was led out of the compound and flown back to the UK for treatment.

The Sun quotes a friend as saying: "She was called into the Diary Room and spoke to her agent, then her consultant in the UK. She burst into tears and ran out and said to her housemates, ‘I have cancer’."

Her spokesperson said: “She went for tests and results have come back and she has cancer.”

Goody was previously tested for bowel cancer in 2006 and ovarian cancer in 2004, receiving the all-clear on both occasions.

This is also very true, although early diagnosis is extremely helpful (as with all illneses) there is no "certainties" of everything being magicly cured.
I was found to have cancer very early and took surgery in the hope of removing the original cause, only to have found (whilst under constant scrutiny) that the cancer has developed eleswhere, my only hope Jade is in that fortunate catergory where treatment can surpress the symptoms long enough for her to have a long and relatively problem free life.

The alternative to this is a dreadful and very scary scenario, which I would'nt wish on anyone, Jade is going to need a lot of help and be very very patient indeed, and pray all goes well, my heart goes out to her, poor woman

There is quite a high survival rate for the type she has so hopefully she'll get better after it.

Its a horrible illness, wouldn't wish it on anyone to be honest.
