The ONLY reason mikey got anywhere near this show is that he's blind. It's a huge advantage in the house. Nobody but Rex dares set him straight because he's blind, and he doesn't have to look people in the eye so he can say whatever he wants because he's blind, and people will assume he's more deserving than anyone else because he's blind and tries on the tasks, often risking the house's success for the sake of his own ego due to his ignorance.
