Sorry for breaking your dreams lol but it's le Français, it's considered as male (sounds weird to say that in English lol)

The accent will come back quite easily, you need some practice, you will only get it this way.
By the way, I do sound Scottish when I'm speaking English. Hence most of my British friends are Scottish.
