SO Some singers that a lot of people dislike, have also a big fan base. Its good to be marmite, like love me or hate me. You will always get the votes. BUt the ones like Ruth are the once you will clap for , but at the end of the day, most will vote for Diana, Laura, Alex or rachel.
Why are you assuming these people are getting the most votes? How do you know Daniel hasn't topped the votes each week? Noone expected Leon to be but it was revealed that Leon was top in every live show last year.

All yours is based on assumption. Its likely she will be in the bottom 2 again in the next few weeks, its not certain. Anything can happen. Besides, most people don't actually start backing one person until at least week 3 or 4 so it can all change for any of them.
I am just grouping her with the girls. I have no doubt that the boys are up there in the voting, we all know that, wether they are good or not. I wouldnt be surprised if even Scott got most votes. But evidently, its more difficult for the girls, thats why I compare her with the other females!
But you need to remember that it is more difficult than the girls and Ruth and Girlband are the two acts that never got much coverage compared to the rest of the contestants, who all managed to get a good 2 or 3 minutes (without sob story) compared to literally 20 seconds for Ruth. So I do still think you're assuming but thats why fan bases are like that so early on. As I said, it can still all change. I mean look at Kerry from series 3. Everyone expected her to win and she was eliminated after about 3 weeks.

You're joking right? Leon was top in every live show? If so then the viewing public haven't got a clue.
I think your confusing X factor for serious artist Idol. Noone exceptionaly talented would go on there

Do you think at this point in time, people voting for Diana, are gonna switch from her to Ruth,no matter what? I seriouly dont think so! People who voted for rachel after she was average on both weeks, they are not gonna change their votes to ruth! The 2 I think coul lose votes if they dont perform for some reason are Laura and Alex, but I still think they have the solid fanbase already!

How do you know people who thought someone was average 2 shows in a row aren't going to switch their votes? And how do you know Diana is firstly, even that popular, and secondly hasn't peaked? When a singer peaks they lose votes.

I think week 3 will be crucial. Big Band separates the men from the boys, it shows up weaknesses more than anything. People can be drowned out by the band behind them (good luck Eoghan..)

Remember Ashley a couple of years back? He forgot his lines, and found himself out in the early weeks of the competition, despite being one of the favourites. People are ruling out a lot of possibilities at the moment.

No. It actually is when people start to support just one person. At the minute everyone likes a couple. In the next fortnight you'll start to see people backing one act and not a few.

Its why Big Band is during week 3- for all the reasons Z said.

Yeah but you are just assuming that people will start to support one person, and assuming atm everyone likes a couple? It might be true, but you, me nor anyone else can say it for certain.

Historically it has happened. I'm not assuming.
