If you can't handle the fact that someone has an opinion different to yours then what are you doing on a forum?

And you can talk about ignorant members - I saw you constantly 'attacking' Spike because he supported McCain.

Right. I think I had better clear this up. First of all, if Spike comes on here, I want him to know that this thread is in no way aimed at him. At one point things got heated between Spike and I - I u2u'd him, and since then, we have had some interesting debates and not fallen out at all.

Markus - I notice you have had two warnings. I have had none. So I don't think you are the person to be telling me about my behaviour.

Also - there is a huge difference between someone being rude and ignorant, and someone having a different opinion to someone else. I enjoy hearing about other people's opinions and debating with them - for the most part, the politics debate was fun all round (I hope).

Finally - Red asked that people refrain from being rude to each other on this thread, or having a go at each other. You have ignored that request. So there's a case of pot and kettle here I think.

I started this thread, not for attention or for people to ask me to stay. If I wanted attention, I would have posted in General Chat, which I think is probably a far more read forum than Suggestions and Help. I appreciate the nice things that people have said on here - I will miss all of you. But to people who have been rude and snide - your posts say far more about you than they do about anyone else.

Please dont go Ruth. I know exactly what you mean but things are gradually changing on here.

There is a lot of idiocy on the forum but I think its slowly getting better. A forum member like you Ruth is to valuable to lose so I hope that you reconsider your decision over the next for a few days.

I second that, I really do hope you reconsider and just take time away rather than walk away from TiBB for good.

Your too good a poster to lose

I know what she means tho, I've said I'm leaving in the past for various reason and always found my way back because TiBB is addictive.

By asking to remove the account it stops ruth from dropping by, which would be a big shame

Hi Ruth I don't think we have spoken in the past but i would just like to say imo if some people have to get personal starts insulting you or is dissrespectful in anyway it's there problem and they have issues that need looking at .You sound like a level headed person and i think it would be a shame to lose someone like you off this forum ,may i wish you all the best ,and hope that the mods get rid of people who don't want to contriute in the right way off here lol Sting.
