Once again it's from the Daily Fail so I wouldn't take it seriously. It's the stupid media trying to stir up trouble once again. Nothing to see here.

Default Tana is \'resigned to Ramsay\'s roving eye,\' claim friends

Quote:
Tana is 'resigned to Ramsay's roving eye,' claim friends
Gordon Ramsay's wife has become used to her husband flirting with other women, friends claim.

Last night, the celebrity chef and his wife of 12 years held five hours of crisis talks over allegations that he has been having an affair for seven years.

The 42-year-old is said to have had trysts with Sarah Symonds, who has built a reputation as a 'serial mistress'. And friends alleged that Tana, 33, with whom Ramsay has four children, has become resigned to her husband's roving eye.

One said: 'Sometimes Tana just doesn't ask what Gordon is up to even though she is aware about what goes on. She does not question him when she has become suspicious when rumours are flying.'

Over the past 18 months, Tana's own profile has grown. She has appeared on TV and published a book called Tana Ramsay's Family Kitchen.

'They have a fulfilling life together, but Tana is no fool,' added the friend. 'She has her kids, her beautiful house and now her TV career, which, let's face it, is off the back of her husband's fame.

'There is no question that she won't stand by Gordon.'

Five days ago, Ramsay and Miss Symonds, 38, were photographed at a London hotel after she was said to have bought three bottles of legal sex drugs.

The Ramsays have not commented or denied the allegations.

But yesterday the chef's mother-in-law came to his defence. At her £2million home in Mayfair, Greta Hutcheson, 63, dismissed the claims.

'Gordon is my son-in-law and a wonderful, sweet man. We hold him in the highest regard. He is a very dear member of our family.'

When asked if Tana knew of the alleged affair, she said: 'I don't think anything has happened.'

However, Tana's family apparently held a 'council of war' yesterday. Her father Chris, chief executive of Ramsay Holdings Plc, and her mother met their sons Adam, 38, and Luke, 31, at a restaurant near their home.

A source said: 'Chris and Greta came in with their two boys.

'They seemed pretty serious and weren't laughing and joking like they usually do. It seemed like a council of war to discuss what to do, as Chris is chief executive of Gordon's company and so has to fire-fight this crisis.

'Her parents are very romantic - always holding hands and very affectionate - and I know Tana has written that she wanted her marriage to be like her parents'.'

Yesterday Tana smiled as she left the couple's £3.5million home in Wandsworth, South-West London, to take their children to school. Asked how she was feeling she said: 'I'm good, thanks for asking.'

Ramsay, who pulled out of a planned appearance on The Paul O'Grady show on Channel 4 yesterday, emerged from the house at 2.45pm and drove off.

Further rumours began to circulate about his close relationships with other women.

Claims that Ramsay has been having an affair for seven years emerged after a sting operation by the News of the World. Miss Symonds is understood to have worked in hand in glove with the newspaper to provide pictures of her and Ramsay leaving the Marriott Hotel, off Grosvenor Square, London.

According to the newspaper, she checked into a £360-a-night room on the first floor of the five-star hotel.

At about 4.30pm, she left the hotel and travelled to Soho where she is said to have spent ten minutes browsing a sex shop.

She spent £10 on three small bottles of amyl nitrate, branded Rave and Rush. Known as 'poppers', amyl nitrate is said to heighten sexual pleasure by relaxing muscles and increasing the heart rate.

Just before 8pm, Ramsay is said to have arrived at Maze, his restaurant which adjoins the hotel. According to the paper he walked up and down the corridor before knocking on Miss Symonds' door.

The pair remained in the room for just over an hour and a quarter. The News of the World says it was told: 'They had sex.' A chauffeur-driven silver BMW 7-series is said to have been waiting outside for Ramsay.

Miss Symonds, of Newport, South Wales, had an affair with the disgraced former Conservative MP and author Jeffrey Archer, in 2001.

Ramsay is thought to have met Miss Symonds in 2001 at Chinawhite nightclub, in London, a few months after she revealed her affair with Lord Archer. A source told the newspaper: 'Ramsay and Sarah exchanged phone numbers and became lovers just a few weeks later. So much for him being true to his wife.'

The pair are said to have met for secret sex sessions in both London and Los Angeles, after Miss Symonds moved there in 2003. The affair came to a halt in 2004 but started up again after Ramsay took his family to LA on holiday in August 2007, it is claimed.

It is thought Miss Symonds will make further claims of their affair in the News of the World this week.

Default Gordon Ramsay\'s \'grovelling apology\' as he admits to meeting alleged mistress four times

Quote:
Gordon Ramsay's 'grovelling apology' as he admits to meeting alleged mistress four times
Gordon Ramsay has made a grovelling apology to wife Tana Ramsay, after admitting to meeting 'mistress' Sarah Symonds four times, it was alleged today.

The television chef was forced to admit to his wife that he does know Symonds, who insists she has been his mistress for seven years.

But he told his wife - who appears to be prepared to stand by him - that they have only met on four occasions.

The couple appeared near their Wandsworth hand-in-hand, in a show of marital solidarity despite the possibility that further lurid revelations will emerge later this week.

Gordon, 42, and Tana, 33, are said to have pledged to save their twelve year marriage, with the normally hard television chef offering his wife a grovelling apology in the light of the devastating claims.

While the chef refused to apologise directly for any affair, a source told The Daily Mirror Ramsay said: 'I'm so sorry I've put Tana through this.

'I've apologised to her and I feel absolutely dreadful. She really doesn't deserve all this grief.'

The source added: 'He is so remorseful over putting her and the kid through such an ordeal. He's also very angry . He says a lot of it is complete b******'.

However, Symonds claims that she enjoyed regular 'phone sex sessions lasting up to an hour a time.

And she also claims she can prove she had sex with the chef because she can identify an intimate scar on his body, reported The Mirror.

Tana has met the tawdry set of claims about her husband with a wall of silence.

And she clearly knows that a well-placed outfit can speak volumes. For the third time in 12 hours during yesterday, Mrs Ramsay eschewed overstated glamour to wear what might described as an 'alpha female, yummy mummy' look.

Morning after morning Tana, 33, has appeared totally unmoved by claims in a Sunday tabloid that her husband has been having an extramarital affair for seven years.

Instead she has gone about her motherly duties in a one carefully chosen dressed-down designer outfit after another.

It was almost as if she was trying to make a well-aimed point about being the unruffled head of the Ramsay household when she considerably stepped up the pace and wore three understated designer sets during her daytime activities yesterday.

By carrying out her duties like the school run with a contented smile on her face, it almost appeared that she was deliberately cultivating the mumsy look to win the PR battle against her love nemesis, Sarah Symonds, who only ever seems to be pictured dressed up to the nines.

Ramsay is said to have enjoyed a series of trysts with the blonde, who has built a reputation as 'professional mistress'.

Miss Symonds, from Newport, South Wales, also had a year-long affair with disgraced former Conservative MP and author Jeffrey Archer in 2001.

Just five days ago the 42-year-old chef and 38-year-old Miss Symonds were photographed meeting at a London hotel after she purchased three bottles of legal sex drugs.

With a beaming smile she said 'good morning' to the mass of photographers outside the couple's £3.5million Georgian home in Wandsworth, south-west London.

Later she emerged changed, but in a similarly easy-going designer chic - a black T-shirt sporting the Muppets character Animal and a red zip-up hoodie, and said she was feeling 'really good'.

Tana left the family home at 2.45pm sporting her third casual designer look of the day - a dark green jacket, blue jeans and a grey scarf.

She appeared to be more worried about the family's new British Bulldog, Rumpole, than her husband's alleged affair. 'He's just had his rabies jab, the poor thing,' she said.

Perhaps she is aware that getting coverage in the fashion magazines is all about wearing as many outfits as possible.

If that is the case, she is certainly making hay when the sun shines.

The media pack outside the Ramsay house is growing by the day - but has been present since Sunday when the story broke.

On Monday, two days after the story broke, stunning Tana smiled broadly as she left the couple's home for the school run. Asked how she was feeling she said: 'I'm good, thanks for asking.'

Tana, who has been married to the Michelin starred chef for 12 years, was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, trainers and a winter jacket and returned to the house at 8.45am.

On Sunday, the day the story emerged, she was also wearing jeans as well as a grey top and scarf and that black leather designer jacket.

Rumours continued to swirl last night about Ramsay's friendships with various individuals over recent years - including an air hostess, two female assistants on a wedding planning magazine and two girls who worked for a London production company.

It also emerged last night that the Sunday tabloid which broke the original story had agreed to pay Miss Symonds as much as £100,000 for the sting which led to the story claiming Ramsay had had sex with her in a London hotel room.

Representatives of the newspaper are currently understood to be holed up with her at a hotel. One source claimed that the newspaper plans to publish further lurid claims about her alleged relationship with Ramsay, but that further money negotiations between Miss Symonds and the newspaper had reached a stalemate.
